I haven't looked into any subversive reasons. Sounds plausible for sure.

I remember when way back when all the crap about McDonalds, health in general and such. When conversations started to involved health insurance... What I pay and why, my ears pricked up.

If the hospitals are going to start to fill up with fat asses and their problems associated with bad judgement on their health, thus medical problems, thus insurance goes up... I get pissed.

I'm still back to keeping gov out of my life, but I am listening... I just wait and try to get the whole picture.
