Was 2-gallon-a-day Coca-Cola habit behind death of 30-year-old woman?

I don't even have to read the article to say no duh. Again moderation people. Sad, but not surprised.

Quote
WELLINGTON, New Zealand -- Experts say a New Zealand woman's 2-gallon-a-day Coca-Cola habit probably contributed to her death, a conclusion that led the soft-drink giant to note that even water can be deadly in excessive amounts.

Natasha Harris, a 30-year-old, stay-at-home mother of eight from Invercargill, died of a heart attack in February 2010. Fairfax Media reported that a pathologist, Dr. Dan Mornin, testified at an inquest Thursday that she probably suffered from hypokalemia, or low potassium, which he thinks was caused by her excessive consumption of Coke and overall poor nutrition.

How is that even humanely possible to keep up that kind of habit? Wouldn't the lack of teeth clue her in to maybe that what she is doing isn't healthy?

More competition from warped minds. Watch out Rebbeca Black and the Kardashian's...

I present to you 3 Second Rule by Lisa Gail Allred. I dare you to sit through the whole thing.

Quote
Meet Lisa Gail Allred, a North Texas woman who apparently has enough money to secure herself some studio time and the labor of a video production crew. The result is this country dance song called The Three Second Rule; while that refers to how long Miss Lisa Gail will let her husband look at another woman, it could also be a time limit for how much of this song you can stomach.

This video has been burning up the internet today. Lisa Gail actually removed it from YouTube, but the internet is forever. As are the scars obtained from making it through this entire video.

YouTube seems to be the new home of so-bad-it's-good, doesn't it? As B movie put their tongues ever more firmly in their cheeks, we have to start looking to social media to find our ironic entertainment.

Ok, now seriously... They did this to be viral right?
There are a number of reviews out there. I just picked this one so you don't have to listen to the song all at once.

I'd like to think this is just further proof that people really don't have a clue to what good music is as resulting from the crap accepted today, but this is just another over the top badness, that must mean something else.

Id' do em. But that shouldn't be misconstrued that I'd actually listen to them. Actually, I'd do one of them while the other one plugged my ears.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JM3Imev2X0I

As mentioned in the clip, the reporter has a right to be  p i s s e d off about what happened, but she gets the Glorious Fail Award for saying she now knows what it's like to be a "victim". Oh brother. Now, on with the show.....can you play that video one more time? Admit it, it gets funnier each time.

Not really glorious. In fact this sounds cold. But... Really, when you hear or read about a tragedy that involves a yacht, don't you really have little sympathy or give this no more thought time while reading it.

Collision suspected in yacht mishap that killed 3

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A yacht involved in a race off the coast of California and Mexico apparently collided at night with a much larger vessel, leaving three crew members dead and one missing, a sailing organization said early Sunday. It was the state's second ocean racing tragedy this month.

The 37-foot (11-meter) Aegean carrying a crew of four was reported missing Saturday during a 125-mile (200-kilometer) Newport, California, to Ensenada, Mexico, yacht race, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
The Newport Ocean Sailing Association, the race organizer, said the accident occurred late Friday or early Saturday several miles off the coast near the ocean border of the two countries.

"It appeared the damage was not inflicted by an explosion but by a collision with a ship much larger than the 37-foot vessel," association spokesman Rich Roberts said in a news release early Sunday.
Race officials believe there are few other possibilities for what caused the accident, Roberts later told The Associated Press, speaking by phone from Ensenada.

He said details were still scarce but it was possible that if the smaller boat was bobbing around in light wind, the crew might not have been able to get out of the way of a larger ship, perhaps a freighter.

Good gawd. Should this be under WTF or my Mr. Obvious?

Two teen girls hit by car while sunbathing in the road

Quote
Two teen girls were struck by a car after they dozed off while sunbathing on a rural road in Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon, family members told NBC station WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh.

The girls, both 13, were taken by helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, where they were expected to recover.

Andrea Kunicky, a spokeswoman for the hospital, told msnbc.com on Monday that the girls were in good condition.

Police told WTAE-TV that Samantha Schermanhorn and Kaylie George were sunbathing on the road when a 19-year-old male cousin of Schermanhorn made a turn at a stop sign and hit the girls. The name of the driver has not been released.

Though he was questioned by police, it was unclear if he would be charged. Economy Borough police were investigating the case. The sergeant in charge of the investigation was not immediately available for comment to msnbc.com.

Nicole and Nicholas Beck, who identified their brother as the driver, told WTAE that it was “just an accident.”

I love this comment...

Yeah, I can't see how the man should be charged for somebody else's stupidity. If this becomes the Status Quo, I am definitely going to end up in prison with regards to all the stupid people that live on my block.
