Storm 1999-2013

Storm, my faithful companion of 14 years, legs gave out and I had to take her to the Vet to be put down.

I've known this time would have come for quite a while. It doesn't make it any easier. Death is hard no matter what.
I had to do this to Storms sister Cleo 2 years ago. I was so hoping and praying she would pass in her sleep, but like the Energizer Bunny, she just kept going. Yesterday, her legs would no longer work and we knew it was time.

It's so hard to take a pet that is still very mentally with it. She was wagging her tail, had no problems of munching down treats... wondering what was going on.
