Yesterday I said it was "windy". It can't touch anything that we have been hit with today. Yikes! Take yesterdays wind and multiple it by 10 and you have a very eventful day out for a walk. It was a breeze (pun intended) walking down to the post office with the wind at my back. But it was brutal walking back home into the wind, getting pelted in the face by rocks, dirt, debris, you name it. Why couldn't I have been hit in the face by a nice pair of titties for my troubles?  On the way down to the PO, I saw that one of the big trees snapped it's monster bridge. So, I snapped (pun intended) a photo of it. I also took a pic of a Palm Tree that has been in town for longer than I have been alive. I have literally waited my entire life to see it snap. It always bends, but it always survives (see bottom pic)

Heat wave the past couple of days. Hit the pool this morning and it still only provided minor relief. As soon as you're out of the water, you get blasted with unforgiving heat. Ugh!!

There's a major brush fire in Carlsbad that isn't anywhere near my location and yet it's adding to the heat wave. Unbearably hot. But the pool was super fun. Much better today than yesterday. I love my pool!!!!

Wow

Wow! Major downpour right now! Sucks to be all those Cosplayers at Comic Con right now. There was speculation 4-5 days ago for a chance of rain. But nobody believed it give how incredibly hot it has been the past few days. It was like the newscaster were constantly blowing smoke up in everyone. Well, we were wrong....they were right....for a change.

Wow, another thunderstorm? Twice in one week? That's unheard of for this time of year in this location. One is unheard of.....two is freakish.

Yikes, I didn't know you had a volcano in Missouri. 

We've been dealing with a massive month long heatwave and forecast said it's only going to get hotter. Yesterday's average around the city was 100 degrees. But the San Diego Chargers had the worst of it. At game time, it was 120 degrees on the field. Yikes!
