Well, St. Louis get’s its share of tornado’s. Last year it struck our area and hit the airport dead on.
This past Friday, we got it again. We were glued to the news screens to watch the wall of storm come at us. The storm developed, we saw the weather guys tracking 2 spirals. One in the north area and one south. My wife and I live in the center west area. We saw some hard rain and that was it.

I work north across from the airport and the storm knocked out some of the campus. Electricity was still off as of Monday.

My niece, husband and family did not fare so well. The tornado dropped directly down on their house and destroyed it. They were in Florida when this happened. The two houses on each side of theirs were also destroyed. Other homes had minimal damage. It appears the tornado tended to hop. Helicopter footage of the destruction reveals that random homes were touched while others remained safe. Very odd.

I just found out my brother-in-law had a tree fall through their house. I believe it took out a bedroom.
I have not talked to them yet.
