That isn't even the worst of it. It seems bad now, but when the weather hits, especially the incoming El Nino, those waves will be dumping over the top of the building themselves. On a low tide day, where you see the waves hitting in the video, that's all beach sand where people lay out. Lots of sand if you can believe that.
