He has no choice but to accept the nomination. He can't spearhead the Never Trump movement and then not step up to the plate, especially since they haven't been able to find anyone willing to do it thus far. Getting a lesser name nominee starts them off in a huge hole financially. Romney has name recognition and can lock up those big donors right out of the gate. You get Joe Schmo and I don't see that many people writing big checks for an unknown. Not that tough. He would only have to slug it out for 5 months instead of a year and a half.
