The post mortem of this election is going to be studied for decades to come.  It's unlike anything we've had before, and the perfect storm of a confluence of issues: sexism, racism, media complacency, disinformation, the failure of predictive data, the repeal of the voting rights act, the interference by the FBI... it's going to be hours before we get the final results (remember, projections aren't final numbers, and the races are so close.  I remember how long the 2000 election took), but it'll be a good long time before we understand everything that went into this and how it played out.  And there's the obvious question of how we keep it from happening again.
