Watching the Republican debate gave me a headache, which is carrying over from the past few weeks. All I heard tonight was white noise. Donald Trump proves once again he SUCKS at debating. Watching him respond to questions or attack from his opponents was squirm inducing. So, with another poor performance, he has all but locked up the nomination. Crazy times. Lindsay Graham in the first debate also made me uncomfortable. When he argues or debates or whatever you want to call it, he is always on the verge of tears which isn't something the Leader of the free world should be presenting. I saw no clear "winners" tonight.

NOTE: Apparently I need hand holding to post in the correct thread as I can't tell what's up and what's down tonight.  ;D

I wasn't even aware it was on, I (and Mac as well, I think) was watching a show on Syfy about the world being promised a utopia but is actually being given a bleak, sterile doomed existence by a benevolent overseer who turns out to be this:

So... maybe the same thing?

What a f*cking hypocrite! Sure, we all knew she was, but with this specific email at hand, she can no longer play the "certain emails were/are allowed on my private email account/server" card anymore. The fact that she acknowledges that her staffer was doing something illegal shows that she knew right from wrong. Furthermore, since she didn't do anything (not that I have seen or heard contrary) as far as firing or reporting the staffer for this is also a crime in itself. Why this hasn't exploded yet with mainstream media today is baffling. She should have been indicted the moment this email was discovered. I did however hear on FOX News yesterday that there were rumblings from 'insiders' within the FBI or whoever, that an indictment of Clinton would be coming down within the next 60 days. I'm wondering if it does relate to this specific email.

They really are... which I guess is a strength if you're occupying the highest office in the land.  I doubt that Hillary would get indicted or be forced to drop out of the race, but if she does, that can only mean one thing.... President O"Malley!

(I actually have no idea what Martin O'Malley looks like, which doesn't bode well for a dude who wants to be a nominee).

Seriously, I am wondering, given that the DNC has been snubbing Sanders so much, if Hillary had to drop out, would they actually endorse him or would they be stubborn enough to go for the guy no one's ever heard of?

If it came to that, no one will vote for Sanders, unless you're okay with coughing up 90% of your paycheck. F*ck that sh*t.

Sanders has a better chance of defeating Trump than Clinton (new PPP poll has him leading Trump by 20 points).  And who said anything about making you give up a chunk of your paycheck?  ****, if anything your paycheck will increase.  Trump thinks Americans are paid too much, Hllary thinks $250,000 is middle class (that's way upper class).  Plus, unlike Hillary, Sanders has always opposed TPP, which is like NAFTA on steroids and probably the biggest power grab by corporations ever.  Heck, check out this write-up about Sanders' run as Mayor of Burlington and tell me that this doesn't sound even a little tempting.

Plus, think about money outside of your paycheck for a second.  One of Sanders' first priorities is to break up the Too Big To Fail banks (Hillary's plan was to tell them to "cut it out" and take their money).  We can't afford another economic crash, and since the bankers didn't learn their lesson or change their behavior, steps gotta be taken.  If we get single payer, companies in the states will be able to compete oon more equal footing with companies in other countries because now we won't have the only companies who have to foot that extra bill.  And without the draw of health benefits, companies will need to find other ways to attract the talent they want (more money, better vacations, etc).  And your taxes might go up, but you wouldn't have to pay for private insurance (unless you want to, and private insurance would have to become better in order to continue existing, offering service above and beyond the public benefit)... and the amount taken in taxes would be far less than your monthly premium, no doubt, because you have a bigger risk pool.  Also, I don't see any other candidate big on taking on climate change.  You're complaining it's so hot, dude, it's gonna get worse and you're gonna be paying for that.  Global climate change is costing us 1.2 trillion bucks a year, and you don't think you're on the hook for some of that?  You are.

Now you got a problem with Sanders?  You mention his inexperience with foreign policy, his poor record on gun control, his age, the fact that he doesn't have concrete plans for some of these lofty goals, etc.  Legitimate concerns.  But don't give me this "90% of your paycheck" scaremongering bullsh1t cause you and I both know that you're SMARTER than that.

Republican Debate was very spirited and entertaining tonight. Everyone was going after each other. But the best was of course the whole Birther issue with Cruz. I swear, it was like watching a sitcom....a very funny one at that. Hollywood couldn't write what came out of his mouth, Trump's and then Rubio putting the button on it. Overall, the best Debate yet.

With the debate over and one more to go before the Iowa Primary, Carson, Paul (who did not attend the debate) and Kasich need to drop out. They have no chance and are wasting our time taking up spots on the stage. Santorum was good in the first debate and Fiorina did enough to warrant her staying a little longer, even if we all know she won't go any further than where she is at.

Who am I kidding, I don't give a sh*t about this sideshow. ALL of them **** me off in some form or another.

It has been a very interesting Post-Debate last night and especially this morning. A lot of pundits usually start their statements with "I'm not a Trump supporter at all.......but even I was impressed with his range, etc....." It's odd to see so many people that have been bashing him for the past 6 months suddenly turning the corner on him as the potential Republican nominee. At least for a day or so.

Well seems my previous post was thoroughly blown out of the water. The GOP is going out for each other.
