I have to point out that with Cruz dropping out, that in itself solidified what is wrong with him and politician's in general. He constantly beats everyone over the head that he is "in it until the convention", really driving that sentiment over and over before the polls closed and as soon as Trump is declared the winner, he drops out. The thing is, nothing changed from before or after the announcement. Cruz knew he was going to lose Indiana, yet he keeps telling people one thing and does the opposite afterward. A true politician to the very end. No wonder the 'Lyin' Ted' moniker fit him perfectly.

As for Sanders, that was the race I was paying close attention to. Do I support Sanders? No. But I sure got a kick out of him beating Clinton, that's for sure. At one point, he was behind by over 3k votes early on and by the midway point he was able to even it out. As soon as he did that, I knew he had the night won. Would have been nice to be a fly on Clinton's wall as he face went ashen white when she realized she just got her ass handed to her again by him. I really want to see a contested convention on the democrat side. That weakens their party should it drag on and on which will alter the General in a big way.

Paul Ryan Vs. Donald Trump. When Reince Priebus came out soon after Trump won Indiana declaring him the presumptive nominee and that everyone needed to coalesce and get behind Trump, we all just assumed that the bulk (if not all) Republican's in the highest office would do so.  I was stunned when Ryan popped up on CNN today and said he would not be backing him. Wow. I already said this was the nuttiest campaign ever, but this just takes it to a new level. This is a game of 'Chicken' now. So, who blinks first? Ryan or Trump?

It matters because now Clinton can use that in ads or more to the point in debates and say "why would you vote for him when even his own party rejects him". It writes itself.

This photoshop job is goin' around the internet, and I thought it was good enough to share: this is what Donald Trump would look like without the toupee or fake tan.

You know, for context.

Hahahahahahahahahaha. Now if the f*cking protester were smart enough, they would have this image blown up into huge placard signs. Imagine a sh*tload of these Old Man Trumps walking back and forth in front of *insert venue Trump is speaking at*.

Jon Stewart talks Donald Trump and our continued national descent into madness, while at the University of Chicago Institute Of Politics.

Quote from: Jon Stewart
“I’m not a constitutional scholar, so I can’t necessarily say, but are you eligible to run if you are a man-baby, or a baby-man? He has the physical countenance of a man and a baby’s temperament – and hands. He is the most thin-skinned individual … When was America great? What is this time that he speaks of? ’81 to ’82? And who took your country away from you? At this point I would vote for Mr. T over Donald Trump.”

Ugh!

Cruz is now saying that if he wins Nebraska today, he will in fact re-enter the race. This guy is delusional and desperate.

With nothing happening on the Republican side since Oompa Loompa is the presumptive nominee, all that is left to watch is the Democrats and by that I mean watching Sanders. Watching him win WV tonight was hilarious because he is f*cking it all up for Clinton. I take great joy in knowing this is driving her nuts and giving her sleepless nights now. I want to see Sanders win from here on out and weaken Clinton even more. I'm very very happy right now.  ;D

Heidi Cruz compares her husband’s failed presidential campaign to the fight against slavery

For those that rejected Cruz and the idea of him running our country and our lives, rejoice. Talk about dense and idiotic. Heidi just proved what we already knew: that she is unstable (flashback to her being seen on the side of the highway having a very public meltdown). I could and should have also posted this in the Idiot Thread for obvious reasons.

Shaking my head in disbelief.

I think it's clear after reading that, the Cruz's are that unique mindset that they fully believe in and don't see the problem their values conflicting with just about every 'normal' person out there. They live in their own little family unit of politics and religion and opinions.

I see it with Trump and Clinton and all the other politcal members too. The Cruz's just ooze their world from every pour. And unfortunately are dumb enough to socialize it.

An interesting idea about Using an old Whig Trick that would allow the Republicans to thwart Donald Trump. Interesting... though oh man, if people were annoyed at the Supreme Court picking Bush in 2000, the public backlash against Congress picking the President now would be insane.  It would be the ultimate proof people need that politics are basically fixed.
