Someone please explain why releasing Tax Returns as a Presidential Candidate isn't a mandatory requirement. It makes sense to have it on the books that the day you announce you are running for the highest office, you are to release you TR's to the American people. If you don't, you are automatically disqualified. It would eliminate this "will he or won't he" sh*t.

I just don't think it's high on most people list of priorities. Revealing Tax returns tells us what? Unless there is something uniquely fishy about Tax Returns, it means very little. I think the most we will learn is Trump was off on how much he's worth.

I place knowing Tax Return info right up there with Birther info.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Primaries and Caucuses (HBO)

The absurdities of Primaries and Caucuses broken down only in the way that John Oliver knows how.

Loved it. The first comprehensive look at the ridiculous system. As John points out... it use to be you would be frowned upon if you stated you didn't vote because your one vote doesn't matter. Today... and even back then... that is how it works.

Now it seems more clear... why would I go vote?

How is it the Clinton's are made of teflon. Why hasn't Hillary Clinton been indicted yet? What connections do they have?

The reason why she has protection is because those in her inner circle or are tied to her in some form or another will suffer from prosecution as well. So it's in their best interest to keep her out of the cross-hairs. Self-preservation. The reason why no one really believes she will be indicted is because it's in Obama's interest to save her, not because he believes she is innocent, it's because he is complicit in her circumventing the law. He is on record saying that he sent her emails to her "account" and server. That right there is the smoking gun. Because her account didn't end in a .gov extension, he knew he too was breaking the law because the chain was broken. So, for his administration to indict her would also shift focus on him and that isn't going to happen.....as much as I want to see it happen.

The one thing that really annoys me is that Hillary, along with her crony puppets always use the excuse that other previous SoS had their own personal emails. The fact that she / they just keep going back to this over and over so as to delegitimize the severity of what she did isn't the issue. She went ahead and got her own server. Trying to just pin it all on emails is not going to save her. It's only half the problem. Sure, other SoS may have had their own email accounts, but I assure you, none of them had their own Servers which was created for the sole purpose of hiding from FOIA inquiry. I really wish the media and reporters in general would just focus on this and hammer this over and over to get her to give out a reason for doing this. She can't. And that's why she focuses exclusively on emails to confuse the American public that may still be in the dark about this type of technology. The media needs to do a better job in their followup questions. I'm tired of these liberal reporters giving her softball questions and just dismissing asking her all together with regards to her Server. Rachel Maddow is the worst of the worst when it comes to this. She is so far up Clinton's ass, I'm surprised she doesn't run for her in her place.

Trump-Sanders debate would be Hillary Clinton's worst nightmare

I really want to see this happen, not because I think it would be an excellent debate, it won't be. I want to see it happen because this would drive Clinton up the wall. If this does in fact happen, it wouldn't surprise me one bit that Trump and Sanders made some sort of deal to just bash Clinton for 2 hours with the occasionally jab at each other. The idea is to mortally wound Clinton to the point that the damage is so severe that she would have to drop out of the race which is something they both want.

Agree... Clinton has to be nashing her teeth just with Sanders. She will have a long of struggles ahead of her. Trump too.

Mr. Drumpf is scheduled to speak tonight in San Diego. I would attend if not for the fact that I've been barred from ever stepping foot inside the SD Zoo.

Trump is speaking at the Convention Center today. Massive crowd of protesters outside. They better not burn the Convention Center down or we won't have any place to host Comic Con.

It's a shame you didn't go, you could have told your grandkids about how you were witness to one of the most genuinely stupid things ever said by a politician ever, namely Donald Trump's solution to the drought being "to open the water up."
