I'm just glad there aren't any being held in my neck of the woods, there usually are.  Strange that there aren't any this time.  but yeah, I doubt that Drumpf would want to do one, but I also don't know if he has a choice in the matter.  He's an insecure bully going up against a strong, confident, competent woman who's also a lawyer and arguably one of the most qualified Presidential candidates ever.  She's going to mop the floor with him.  Part of me is even wondering how long it will take, I would say halfway through the first debate, Drumpf will say something so fundamentally stupid and asinine that everyone will just stop in their tracks and have NO idea how to continue.

This has been happening for the better part of a year.

Yes, but he's been in an echo chamber, he's always been the loudest one in the room, and the people reacting are always after the fact.  The media rolls over because he delivers good ratings.  In a live, televised debate against a seasoned pro like Clinton and a moderator willing to call him out for not answering questions?  Totally different scenario.  Trump gets away with his stuff because he's never around when people call him out, if they ever do.  He can't do that in a debate.  "How can we trust you with our National Defense when no national security experts have signed on to your campaign?  How can our allies trust you when you threaten to pull out of NATO?  How can we trust you'd be a capable President when no living former President has spoken in your favor?  How can we trust your economic policy when you've declared bankrupty six times and won't release your tax returns?" and so on and so on, and he can't answer any of that.

Hillary Clinton claims FBI director said she was 'truthful' about email server

This whole idea that she could possibly change once she becomes President and become someone different than who she already is.....is laughable. I mentioned this a few weeks ago as she was doing the same thing about how she has and still is going on and on about how she "never sent nor received classified documents...". I just watched her interview with Chris Wallace this morning and was astounded at how stupid and dense she really is. Wallace is handing, i.e. reading verbatim what Comey said regarding her talking points and she was STILL trying to spin it that Comey wasn't really saying the things that we all heard. Wow! She really does have a disconnect with reality. Seriously....she can't NOT lie. It's in her DNA to not to admit anything, even when she has already "won". She is as dense as Drumpf is stupid.

I'm back to my original train of thought and that is Drumpf is in fact working on behalf of Clinton, that he is in fact her mole and plant. Everything finally make sense after last night given the action of Drumpf. It's one thing to work tirelessly to constantly f*ck up all in the name of looking shittier than your opponent so that everyone has no choice but to vote for her. But that is only half the equation because just getting her into the office won't mean sh*t if the Republicans still hold the house and can veto every stupid thing she will propose while in office. But now that Drumpf is publicly denouncing Paul Ryan and John McCain and not supporting either one in  their reelection bid says it all. For Shrillary to get the leverage she needs as President, she needs the house and with Drumpf actively and purposely f*cking with the down ballot, it's clear what he is doing. He wants and needs the down ballots to start shifting all the reelections to Democrats....the other half of what needs to happen for his / her plan to work. And yes, I fully expect Drumpf to disclosed the content of his first Classified briefing via Twitter or Rally in the hopes that THIS will be the thing that finally collapses his "campaign". It's gonna happen regardless of any "consequence" that may befall him should he publicly reveal any info given him.

I agree with last statement. The process has to change. There is the Catch 22. It probably has to be changed by those in those seats. I don't really understand how it works.

My simplified view is politicians, it is now their primary job, to remain in office. The spend an extraordinary amount of their time working for their needs and wants. Most probably to retain those benefits only available to politicians. This skews their day to day thinking.

Term limits for everybody. Period. Get in. Work the issues, and your done.

CNN's new normal? Two more expletives dropped on Thursday

I do find this to be fascinating because just a couple of months ago, those appearing on FOX News were banned for a month after dropping expletives, yet I've seen numerous guest doing the same on CNN and getting a pass. There is something to be said about how certain Networks monitor and censor their airwaves. If CNN continues to allow more people to pop off with no fear of punishment, this will actually get more viewers because people will want to see how far guest can go. Should that happen, then FOX will start to allow their guest to do the same to retain viewership. The article highlights those attacking Drumpf, but I've seen others doing the same and dropping the P-Bomb in describing Obama and the A-Bomb for Clinton.

So, you would think that Drumpf making a veiled assassination threat toward Clinton would shock me. Sad to say, but I absolutely expected him to go there......3 months ago. Now they can say it was just a "joke" and meant nothing by it, but there is no other way to take it. Everyone thought it and every knew exactly what he was thinking. As I said, he is purposely throwing this election no matter what. He was given a "gift" when it was shown that the Orlando Shooter's father had attended Clinton's rally. This would have been THE story of the day....perhaps the week. What better talking point then to paint Clinton as a Terrorist sympathizer, blah blah blah.... So what does Drumpf do to top this? Make the comment he said. Ugh.

Troops using 'Clinton defense' in classified information cases

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY CLINTON SHOULD HAVE BEEN INDICTED!!!!

Because you have Comey and Lynch in the back pocket of Clinton and Obama, they have now set a precedence of future cases like these. So, now everyone is entitled to the same outcome as dipsh*t Clinton. I still don't understand how she can get away with blatantly circumventing the law with her home-brewed server. Just take the email equation out of the picture and the server alone is enough to indict.

Sigh.

Iranian Navy ships harassing US Navy Ships right now. I can hardly wait to hear Obama, Kerry and Clinton pull out some stupid excuse out of their asses to let the Iranians off the hook for this.
