This sh*t is getting veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery interesting.  Currently the tally is Trump 167 to Clinton 130. Watching the panel over on FOX is very telling. Everyone from Megyn Kelly to Bret Baier and on and on....the looks on their faces says everything. They are stunned that Trump is where he is right now.

Just in: FOX just called North Carolina for Trump. Wow!

NBC is leaning that Trump will take Florida. All the pundits stunned.

This is very telling. The media has one view, rural America has another.
I'm not surprised at all how this is so close. I think a lot of folks are thinking the same. But the media is absolutely dumbfounded.

But the media is absolutely dumbfounded.

They are dumbfounded because they thought they could manipulate the American Public with false polls, cheating debate questions, etc.....

If Clinton loses tonight (and it's leaning that way at the moment), my money is on Clinton contesting the results in Florida which would be ironic out of everything that has played out thus far.

It has been 30 minutes since NBC and FOX have called Florida for Trump and CNN is still refusing to call it. To do so is to admit that Clinton, their precious Puppet, will not get there through that state. It's interesting that on CNN, they actually have her leading Trump by 12 points, whereas every other Network has Trump winning.

The post mortem of this election is going to be studied for decades to come.  It's unlike anything we've had before, and the perfect storm of a confluence of issues: sexism, racism, media complacency, disinformation, the failure of predictive data, the repeal of the voting rights act, the interference by the FBI... it's going to be hours before we get the final results (remember, projections aren't final numbers, and the races are so close.  I remember how long the 2000 election took), but it'll be a good long time before we understand everything that went into this and how it played out.  And there's the obvious question of how we keep it from happening again.

TRUMP WINS!
CLINTON LOSES!
I'M EXHAUSTED!

You know I'm not a fan of Trump and I'm not celebrating because he won, I'm celebrating because she lost. I'm all about the rule of law and that everyone should be held to the same standard. What was really distressing was the idea that there was half of the United States that didn't care about rule or law and were willing to reward her with the highest job on Earth. When Podesta came out and sent the Clinton supporters home because they were going to wait for every single vote to be counted just infuriated me because the Clinton camp were now going to do the thing they were mocking and condemning Trump of doing had it not gone his way. So, I was and am kind of shocked that Clinton actually conceded tonight.

and this.... I've been actually thinking about this vs. over who won.

We have a real problem with media. Hopefully we will see a change.

I find it hilarious how many people that opposed the idea of a Trump Presidency are now coming out today to offer their congratulations. I expected that there would be a handful of people that would do that, but not as many as have come forward. A lot of hypocrites now kissing Trump's ass. The thing is, Trump may be gracious for the time being, but he won't forget those that crossed him at one time or another.

Okay, now that we have our President-Elect, I'm hopefully optimistic that he will step up to the plate and actually deliver on his promises. But then again, I'm always optimistic whenever there is a change in the Presidency. 71 days until inauguration right? The first 100 days will be interesting to watch. If he starts to waver or go down a road not in line with his proposed policies, I'm gonna be royally p*ssed and spent the next 4 years tearing him down. But lets not jump the gun just yet and follow the mantra most people are adopting today. Let's give him a chance to see what he can do.

BTW, Chip, when pressed about it, the Trump team said they're probably not going to lock her up.  I know that was a biggie for you, probably not going to happen.  That's a campaign promise he's not keeping.

The hypocrisy has gone on for years. I actually envisioned all them talking normal behind the doors. And yes, after it's over, move on and work with each other.

BUT.... Trump is different. He's not a politician.... yet. I can easily see him handle these folks like he would in his business transactions. On the other hand, I can't see Trump single evenhandedly change the way politics work. There will be compromise.

I still hope someone goes after her and the Clinton's organization. There is something going on and I'm betting it's not legal.
