Prostitutes are people too.

On the flip side, giving anything to any politician is not in my thinking.

Peter Gabriel pulls music from Limbaugh show over Fluke furor

My main man... Mr. Gabriel!!!
Thank you for your part on telling bloated asshat what you think.

Quote
Advertisers aren’t the only ones pulling their products from "The Rush Limbaugh Radio Show."

In the wake of host Rush Limbaugh’s attack on Georgetown student and birth control advocate Sandra Fluke, musician Peter Gabriel has moved to have his music withdrawn from the controversial program. After learning that his song “Sledgehammer” was played during Limbaugh’s rant, in which he called Fluke a “****” and a “prostitute,” a spokesperson for Gabriel released the following statement:

"Peter was appalled to learn that his music was linked to Rush Limbaugh's extraordinary attack on Sandra Fluke. It is obvious from anyone that knows Peter's work that he would never approve such a use. He has asked his representatives to make sure his music is withdrawn and especially from these unfair aggressive and ignorant comments."

The move comes following a mass exodus of sponsors for the program, including ProFlowers, Legal Zoom, Citrix Systems, Tax Resolutions, Sleep Train, Sleep Number, Quicken Loans and the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball teams.

The conservative firebrand sparked outrage when he said that Fluke, a college student who was denied the right to speak at a contraception hearing, was "having so much sex she can't pay for it" and that women who want insurance plans to cover their birth control should post videos of themselves having sex online.

Limbaugh issued an apology following the attack, in which he states: "For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke."

Limbaugh is a  f u c k i n g  idiot. It's funny how he can call the chick a  s l u t and a  p r o s t i t u t e  and then turn around and issue an apology because he is losing sponsors, i.e. money. Hmmm....apology + money = hypocritical  p r o s t i t u t e.

I just don't like that guy.

I don't have such kind words to describe him.

Supposedly this guy has what, 20+ million listeners? Where are they? I've met 2 in my lifetime. And those are the ones to admit they do. Maybe it's me. I don't want to associate with people who like what he does.

Stephen Colbert hits 'snooze' on his Countdown to Loving Mitt clock

Too funny

Quote
There may be many people who considered Super Tuesday worthy of its superlative, but don't count Stephen Colbert or Jon Stewart among them. On Wednesday, both "The Colbert Report" and "The Daily Show" hosts tore into the idea that the big vote-a-thon had any role in decisively picking the front-runner for the 2012 Republican ticket.

Colbert called it a "a big, sweaty pile of lever-yankin' Republican voters." And for those who find that characterization disrespectful, he explained: "like most orgies, it involves a bunch of middle-aged guys who are not appealing to women."

Yeah, I watched this and it's been pretty funny. The good thing is with Colbert hitting the snooze button, we have 3 more days of lunacy.

Such the Christian isn't he?

Hey, I'm not offended. He's a man and there are times that enough is enough, but I'm offended he has been pushing his Christian image. I know way to many of my Christian brethren who are hypocrites. Just show me the real you. But that seems to be impossible in politics.

I've said it in my Bible Class. I want a president that excels in his moral and ethical attitude, but keep religion and religious beliefs out. They do not mix.

I'm not offended by his "profane" outburst at the reporter. I'm offended that he doesn't do it more often.

A blast from the past. This definitely belongs in Glorious Fail as well, but decided it best to post it here.

Ted Nugent Obama Comments Draw Secret Service Scrutiny

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEt7JaggLwU

"American Guitarist.....and future prisoner".

I think most people already know how outspoken Ted is of the administration, which is something he's usually is at every sitting President. I really don't take what he said to be something that should be worried about. He's more of the "all talk, no action" variety. I get that any "threat" still has it's protocols that have to be followed though. But this is getting blown way out of proportion IMO.

I like how these guys discuss the latest news. Sometimes they crack me up.

Ted Nugent was just here in St. Louis and took over the radio Station I like to listen too (Dave Glover Show). I have not heard it yet, but will in a future podcast.

Ted is outspoken. At times, I wish more people were like him. At times, but Ted is like that 100% of the time and I think he is a tad extreme. As far as watching him... Probably not.

What I am getting very tired of is the disrespect of The President. Don't care if you don't like him, but you don't shout out crap during his addressing the nation, you don't point your finger in his face. I think the ethical and moral ground is erroding. People are becoming more ignorant without thinking about consequences.

There is so much wrong with that. One being, that's where I was born. Hot @ss my @ss. Sorry that ship has sailed. The attention she gets for doing nothing bores me.
