We have a bison preserve by us. The fencing around it is very rustic and open. Just timbers.

Years ago when going through it, a bison was close to the fence. This young women, like that dumbass woman, went up, reached through the fence and pet it. BUT, she for some reason decided to grab the horns. When the bison jerked its head because it didn't like that, the woman froze and didn't let go. It threw her around a bit like a rag. Luckily she was not hurt.

I guess people just forget these animals are wild... And oh so cute.
