So this is just the beginning. The
Japanese Maple in the back corner will fill 'out' and take prominence as a focal point for the corner. The
Autumn Blaze Maple directly back will grow big and hide the neighbors as will the
Japanese Lilac, which already produces an amazing aroma with it's flowering bunches. The
Japanese Bloodgood has a long way to go to grow big and hide our neighbors farm like back yard.
The maiden grass will grow big and full to mark it's space and then the various lily's and coneflowers will give more spotted white and yellows.
My main intent is to have a groomed landscape area. I don't want that wild ass pasture look with every square foot filled with something.
My next project is the gulley at the bottom of the yard with the storm drain. I'm going to make an
arroyo with local large stones and incorporate sandstone or shale for a natural looking step across the tiny ravine.
