Still working on different configs. One thing I have to point out, XIDAC offers Lifetime Warranty on your PC. No one offers that anywhere else that I know of. iBuypower, Cyberpower, etc....standard is 2 years. I talked to one of their Customer Reps and he said this Lifetime Warranty covers everything. The only cost comes in shipping. This Warranty is a BIG PLUS in my book.

oh yeah for sure.

that is an amazing thing and something I can nearly guarantee (see what I did there) will come in handy...if not 2-5 years down the road...later

The case that I went with is no longer available. Support says it won't be back in stock until next week. No sweat, gives me more time to do more research. One thing I made effort to learn is that the company is based in Utah...and that means no tax charge on the PC. I got them to confirm this. Nice...that will save about 250 bucks on that alone.

In a bid to never have sex again, Linus Tech Tips and... another channel I'd not heard of... had their wives build a PC.  I thought this was entertaining on its own...

But then I saw this dismantling video of the new Mac Pro and holy cow... I cannot believe how easily that thing comes apart and back together again.  If I'm watching this right (maybe I'm not) there are almost no wires, you just plug it in, things pop out, things have protective shields...  I don't know if Apple's ever actually made a PC before but holy crap, the amount of thought that went into the little things is astounding.  It's just a shame that with it being so easy to disassemble that there's proprietary cr*p in there... I can't wait to see what happens when modders start playing around with it, how much it can be modified and souped up with the non-expensive stuff.

The first two I've been following for awhile...the third one (PC breakdown), I've never heard of before. Looks interesting.
