I'm not sure about the Sharp. That brand has been out of my radar for a long time.

I've got a Panasonic blu-ray. It works beautifully. Not sure about their TV's.

I also have a 54" Sony. It beautiful. It's also old, big and heavy. I thought I heard Sony had some quality issues. Maybe not recently though.

The Vizio and LG... Nothing bad yet. I'm hearing good for the price point.
