Turn your TV into a touchscreen

I like the idea of being able to turn a non-touchscreen into just that. But personally, I would never use it on my 50 inch TV. There's no benefit for anyone that uses this on their home TV's. Yes, it makes perfect use for demonstrations and business related projects at work and whatnot. But is anyone gonna want to get up out of their EZ chairs to flick something on the screen? I think not. The only touchscreen that matters for me is on a tablet hybrid....one that sits on my lap or on a table.....not on something across the room.

Nope... The touchscreen will not fly. First, the business touchscreen a have a special surface, one being for fingerprints. Home TV's will get dirty quick. What reasons could there be to be standing ne t to the screen in the living room? It looks ridiculous.

Our screens at work are controlled several different ways, but essentially a small screen or pad from a comfortable seat with everyone else.

Besides, I thought gesture technology was making headway?

LG W- Series Wallpaper OLED and Atmos Soundbar - Hands on at CES 2017

This is insane in how f*cking thin this is! Even more insane is the price! I'm always going to be 5 years behind on something like this, always waiting for the price to drop to where I'm comfortable spending money on.

even more OLED screen stuff. I think this will be the next big physical television change.

I listend to a audiophile salesman from one our local TV/Music showrooms and he said 3D never took off and is dead. Curved screens may work well for the individual gamer, but horrible for group watching. Just to much glare/reflections etc.

anyway... some cool tech advances...

CES 2018: LG Shows Off TV That Rolls Up Like a Poster - IGN News

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!!

This really is impressive that we are now in a time that tech like this even exist today. I don't want to even speculate what this is going to cost though.

Well, I finally upgraded to a 4k TV....but it was out of necessity because my last TV didn't turned out to be a POS that didn't make it a year and a half before I was having issues with it and then maybe 3 months ago the entire screen was washed out. I could still watch certain things that were "lit" well in scenes. But if it was a night scene, it was impossible to see anything. So yeah, my TV arrived today. Still getting the lay of the land. Checked out a couple of 4k videos. Color me impressed.
