My buddy owns some security camera's for his 3 stores in Dallas. He's got it set up to look at the camera's anytime mostly from home but his iPad or phone.

I have been seeing more and more total home products at the big box stores (Home Depot, Lowe's and Best Buy), including home security and camera's.
Might want to start with them, then research.

Good point, but whether its wired or wireless, you can still set up Remote access to view your cameras off sight, which is the whole point of doing this. It comes down to creating a unique username and password. From what I have read, most hacked cameras are due to people just leaving their UN/PW at default.

Because I got some notice about 'deals', it had the Nest house internal cam. I was reading what it can do. Pretty slick stuff.
