Outside of KISS and Joe Satriani, I've seen Queensr˙ch a few times live and they have never failed deliver. Definitely got this show earmarked for tonight. Geoff has an ungodly amount of range to his singing.

I had forgotten how amazing this show was. I have the VHS Box set of this somewhere. But the last time I listened to this one was well over 15 years ago. This concert is off the hook. Geoff's vocals are amazing. The entire band is at peak form. I wonder if they knew just how good and far advance their playing and songwriting skills were to the other bands of the day. Epic performance.

I believe they did...they were not only competent musicians but conscious.....they had great playing, great harmonies...great compositions and songs...and one hell of a concept they executed nearly, if not to perfection..

this band was firing on all cylinders....I think if anything they may have been TOO good for some people to understand...it was almost high brow metal

:)

that said...I found the Van Halen concert almost unwatchable.

hahahaha....wasn't VH in their prime though...but wow what a contrast to this show

:)

it's a great show...you'll have to push the volume a bit...and because it's an older VHS dub...the video isn't HD or anything...I fully enjoyed this concert and would give it between 4-4.5 stars.
