Nice to have P&R back. I liked the episode, but it seemed to move by quicker than I'd like it to. I couldn't savor it. I thought the BBQ gag was hilarious! Even whining Tom was entertaining to me. Shocking! I also thought the John McCain cameo was funny as hell with him hovering over Leslie and she didn't even know it. Funniest line of the night went to Andy when he told April that the Oval Office is named after Oval Redenbacher. Hahaha.

Awesome episode. Very funny. As the title suggest, it's a 'rip-from-the-headline' spin on the NY City Soda Ban (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/general-discussion/glorious-fail/msg9250/#msg9250) from a few months ago. Loved the ridiculous sizes of the Cups Leslie kept pulling out from underneath the table. Andy training to become a Cop was also fun, especially Chris and his motivational ways. Best scene probably would go to April at the very end, threatening one of the Interns to finish the website. It was indeed awesome.
-
Yeah, I busted out laughing when she asked, "How is this a child size?" "It is roughly the size of a 2 year old child, if it were liquified." The best part though was April at the end, where she threatens Ellis the intern to start doing his job. This show has to keep going with The Office in its last season. It's not like NBC has any other shows that will do well.
-
It's not a stretch saying that P&R is the best comedy show going right now, with a close second being Cougar Town. Welcome back Ganthc!!

Another winning episode. So funny. Everything in this one was funny. I could not stop laughing at Leslie's half-done perm. Her meeting with the Old Judge was also very funny. April and Ben's "road trip" was pretty good too....all 40 feet of it. But the best part was Ron meet his new love interest played by Lucy Lawless. Hubba hubba! Seeing Ron and Andy in make-up made this even funnier.

The sight of Amy Poehler jacking off a banana could conceivably be the best gag of the year for any show this season. I thought the 'Moral' couple was odd, but funny. I'm just glad I don't know anyone that repressed. Yikes! Tom's court ordered mandate to refrain from any and all electronic devices, especially that of computers was funny. We really don't realize how addictive being online is until it's taken away. The few times I've had to take my PC in for repairs and not get it back for a week and sometimes longer is BRUTAL!! So, I can definitely related to Tom's sheer boredom.
Ben's boss, the "Robot" politician was just odd and goes a long way to highlighting why the majority of politicians are just so unrelatable when they act and move like....robots.

Instant classic in every sense of the word. It's not really a full-on Halloween episode, but it does deliver when Ron takes Diane's little girls Trick Or Treating and promptly snaps their Tiara as a form of parenting. Andy's clueless "observation" skills were also very funny too. I never thought a 'Fart Attack' could ever be good for a laugh. Actually, it was beyond hilarious because it was never ending. Jerry sold it rather well. They even somehow got Donna into this. A lot of her. She is always in the background and maybe gets 1 scene per episode, but in this one it was plenty more and I approve.
The best bits definitely involved Leslie and Ann, especially their 'dance celebration' when leasing the house and the auction was also great. But it's the ending that solidifies this episode as a keeper. I should have seen it coming a mile away, but I had no idea that Ben was going to pop the question to Leslie.

For me the best part about this episode was Chris (Rob Lowe) dealing with his Happy/Sad emotions. Everything that was going down at Ben and Leslie's engagement party was sending him off into emotional roller-coaster. Keep this man on the show indefinitely!! Also good was the return of Jean-Ralphio (Ben Schwartz) who is still in the same mind-set of partying and not giving a sh*t about anything.

It took the entire episode to set up what Ben will be doing professionally in the future: Helping Tom run his business. Didn't he already try that with 720 Entertainment? Ha. This should be good for some laughs. Even though I'm not a fan of Joe Biden, I did think that Leslie's meeting with him was particularly funny....and psychotic.

Meh. This was just okay. It kinda seemed like a filler episode, especially with Andy and April running around City Hall role playing. As for Brad Hall's cameo, it literally took me 5 minutes before I could even place his face. He pulled a Ted Danson. He looks nothing like I remember him from his SNL days.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Best Christmas episode ever! Everything here was freaking funny! Tammy (Megan Mullally) returns to try and ruin Ron's night at the Woodworking Awards ceremony and his relationship with Diane and the way she was doing it was hilarious. Just thinking along the lines of the interrogation scene of Basic Instinct. But the best part was Jerry's Christmas dinner where we meet Jerry's wife played by the stunning Christie Brinkley and she was fantastic in the role. She was funny. I want to see her on the show more and more. Not to be outdone, Chris, April, Tom and Andy all had funny one-liners that are sure to live on for years to come. Gotta watch this episode again.

How can you not like this awesome episode?! This was a fun half hour. I really wish this was an hour long episode. It's that good. There was just something really cool about the rotating Bachelor Party where each one gets to choose something to do since they never had one before getting married. I even liked how the episode sets up a potential love connection between Chris and the Hot Reporter. This show is turning into the must-cameo-show given the names that have already nabbed thus far. Now you can cross Newt Gingrich and Reggie Wayne off the list. The cameos work and you really don't have to like who they are on a personal level either.
The other half of the equation was Leslie and the gang trying to stop a land development by burying Indian artifacts in the ground. Sounds bad, but it works and it was very funny, especially seeing April digging using a P e n i s Hat. It has to be seen to be believed. A+++++++

Ron babysitting is enough to make this a must-see-TV episode for sure. But throw in the 'L' word and you have a very un-Ron episode. Very funny and having the kids cutting off their hair was priceless just to see how he would react to it. Teaching Tom how to play basketballl....also funny.

P&R can't have perfect episodes all the time. Although funny, especially the scene with the guys battling food poison, the episode was kind of a let down. Watching Ann search for a sperm donor was kind of sad. A hot chick like Ann not being able to find someone is unrealistic, even for a fictional show. My guess is that they are working an angle where Ann is going to have a drunken hookup with Tom, get pregnant and have to deal with the idea of who just got her pregnant, which itself could be funny.

Definitely the best part about this episode was Ron taking viewer calls on Pawnee Today. His advice on a number of topics were just downright hilarious. Second best would have to be Leslie playing all the roles in her DVD presentation of various city employees. Fave employee she played? Why that would be Ann Perkins of course. Haha. Was not expecting to see a 'To be continued....' at the end, setting up the Wedding episode. Can't wait.

Leave it up to Ron to OWN an episode titled Leslie and Ben. He had a couple of awesome scenes in this one that are sure to become fan favorites. The first one of course was when he punched out Councilman Jamm. Two hits. Him hitting Jamm and Jamm hitting the floor. BOOM! The second one that's already a fave of mine was the epilogue showing Ron how he made Leslie and Ben's wedding rings. Awesome! Overall, a fantastic and fun wedding episode. It looks like Anne may be warming up to the idea of dating (or at least having a baby with) Chris. Not surprising as I just always assumed that they would get back together again.

Jerry being sent to stand in the corner for "losing" Leslie's 'page of jokes' was priceless. Seeing him clapping, still facing the wall was also priceless. Jerry is, well.....priceless. More Jerry!!!! So, Anne has asked Chris to become a sperm donor to her. He's got to "think about it". I hope they don't drag this out too long because I think the whole idea of keeping this strictly as a donor with no emotion involved arrangement is just a precursor to them actually getting back together. Sooner the better.

Best part was Ann and April bonding through blackmail. Loved their rendition of Cyndi Lauper's 'Time After Time' song. Worst part was the introduction of Jean-Ralphio sister Mona-Lisa, and it really wasn't the 'worst' as she was very funny and just as annoying as her brother. I hope she will become a recurring character, which I'm sure she will be. Jerry's incoherent babbling....+10!! Chris flexing his 'parental' skills on Tom was also pretty damn funny too.

Best part of the episode was a drugged up Ben saying the most random things popping into his head. Insanely funny. The rest of the episode was just okay. Ron getting sued for punching Jamm in the face did have a couple of good laughs. Andy for the win in his "lawyering" skills. Hahaha. Kinda weird to see J.K. Simmons showing up on the show. Same for Annabeth Gish as Ben's sister.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. An awesome and funny episode goes out on top when Ron, at the urging of Anne, has to eat a banana to stay healthy, but he can't do that. So, what does he do? He puts the banana in a hamburger to help get it down. Hahahahaha! Priceless. The entire episode was great. Loved Jerry's scene while applying for the job of Animal Control director, he gets a pay cut at current job. Funny stuff.

Meh. I like that Patton Oswalt will most likely be joining the cast in a recurring role and his "Star Wars" story was pretty damn funny to say the least. I'd pay to see that. But the rest of the episode was just okay for me. Watching Anne and Ben trying to score the ultimate present for Leslie wasn't much and you could see the punchline coming a mile away that she would turn the day that both of them became "best friends" into another opportunity to create an anniversary day to celebrate.

Jerry's Retirement
(http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i266/Chiprocks1/Star%20Ratings/HTL_04star.gif)
I was a little worried that Jim O'Heir was leaving the show with a title called 'Jerry's Retirement'. Yes, the character has indeed retired. But in an effort on Ron's part to keep Tom from becoming the new "Jerry", he invites Jerry to return once a week to help out around P&R. So, it will basically be the same, he just won't get paid anymore as he is now an intern. Pretty cool seeing more of his family life and was glad to see that Christie Brinkley returned as his wife. More please.
The whole Anne and Chris thing of trying to get pregnant.....'clinically' was just odd. Two people with a shared history don't want to get it on? Well, after much awkwardness, they finally do in fact do it the old fashion way. Yay! Looks like they are getting back together as a couple as well.

I guess that Councilman Jamm is now a recurring character. He is on P&R more and more lately. The episode was okay for me. The whole Putt-Putt challenge wasn't all that good. However, Mona-Lisa was. I want to see her get even more screen time as Tom's derange girlfriend. She is funny.....and scary at the same time. So, I guess Jerry really did retire. He wasn't to be found anywhere in this episode. Sigh. I'm hoping this isn't the case and that the writers just didn't have a place to use him in this episode and that he will return. P&R could also use more Mouse Rat as well.

Are You Better Off?

Jerry returns! Sure, it was only for a tiny 10 second cameo, but at least he returned! Wheeeeee!! As for the rest of the episode, it was pretty good with the return of Bert Macklin, FBI Agent as Andy tries to solve the case of which woman in P&R is pregnant. I knew from the beginning that it wouldn't be any of them and that it would be Ron's girlfriend (Lucy Lawless) that was. Next season will be a hoot to see how Ron handles the idea of becoming a father. That is if the show is picked up. There has been rumblings all season long that the show is on the bubble and may not be coming back which would absolutely suck if that's the case.
