Somehow two minutes doesn't feel like a supercut... I feel like it should be mixed in with babes in water, you know? Elisha Cuthbert in Girl Next Door, Estella Warren in Kangaroo Jack, Jessica Alba in Into The Blue (the other girl in there as well, I'm SURE she got wet), Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider 2... I love the concept cause it's a primal one, but this wasn't that great, you know?

I haven't edited video in YEARS (and I was never good at it even then). But the "chick in water" trope appears in a LOT of the stories I do. Even when it doesn't really call for it.

You know, thinking about this cut, I feel like we got robbed a little, I was thinking of Tia Carrera back in the day and remembered the end of Wayne's World but we never saw her in a pool, then thought of that primal music video and feel like we should have gotten to see her in a Red Sonja-type movie with the mandatory wash-in-a-river/waterfall scene.

Thinking of Denise's Playboy pictorial now, thanks a lot. Wish there was motion footage of that. And we were robbed in Starship Troopers, if you think about it, she split from the group before the shower scene.
Neve never really did anything for me. Although did you ever see her appearance in Kids in the Hall in her schoolgirl wear?

Criminally overdressed, IMHO. The "skinny-dipping in someone else's pool" is a classic trope that I haven't figured out how to update OR genderflip (no girl would go skinny dipping if the guy starts first... because they're the smart, sensible gender and don't think with their privates).
And you know what, we don't actually see her jump in, I wanna see that! The body hit the water, the splash, the reaction... that's the fun of it.

I remember her from Power Rangers, she had a little more roundness to her (which is awesome), wore this tight Sheena-like outfit so you could really read all her curves and I just wanted to see more. AND for the last leg of her series, her best friend was this cute-as-anything tall blonde model in tight black leather pants and a leather corset.
