Come on! Admit it! The idea of Harrison Ford, Clint Eastwood, Wesley Snipes and Nic Cage in E3 just put a goofy-ass smile on your face and you threw your fist in the air and said "f u c k yeah"! We all know this is not going to pan out. But I'd like to think it's a possiblity and will let that carry me for a few months. Stallone should have done this back in the late 80's, early 90's when they were all at their peak. Wouldn't have been able to do so with everyone getting 20 million paychecks. Better late than never.
Even if they manage to snag these 4 cats for E3, I wouldn't go see this in the theater. Definitely a Waiting For DVD Release for me.

Chuck Norris Not Returning for The Expendables 3
At the premiere for The Expendables 2, Chuck Norris told Access Hollywood that he won't be returning for The Expendables 3, which producer Avi Lerner is already planning.
Lerner recently said that they had approached Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford and Nicolas Cage about playing characters in the third film and that they would also ask Wesley Snipes when he comes out of prison next July. They would be joining Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
But Norris said this is it for him. You can check out the interview segment below. The Expendables 2, which has earned about $60 million worldwide, is expected to come out on top a second straight weekend.

Having just watched TE2 tonight, I'm bummed that Chuck Norris isn't returning. He was awesome in it. As for the latest news in TE3, it looks like Jackie Chan will be signing on, contingent that he has a larger role than just a "minor one". Nic Cage apparently has already signed on and Van Damme may be returning. Nice.
While watching TE2 tonight, I was trying to figure out who could and should join the cast that would absolutely work and rock the f*ck out of it. I came up with one name and one name only: Her name is......Linda Hamilton. Tell me that sh*t doesn't blow your skirt up? She can rock an M16 just as good, if not better than any other guy on the planet. Make it happen! Pleeeeeeease!

The entire point of the Expendables franchise is to collect everyone’s favorite big names from the ’80s and ’90s all in one place. So far, that’s mostly meant action stars. But could the scope be expanded to include political power players? Sylvester Stallone teased a possible appearance by one former Commander-in-Chief. “Maybe President [Bill] Clinton wants to be in it,” he said. “You think I’m joking, right?”
Well, yeah, because he probably is — but how amusingly bizarre would it be if he wasn’t? Besides, Clinton wouldn’t be the first to make the leap from elected office to Expendable. Arnold Schwarzenegger was still Governor of California when he made his cameo appearance in the first one

I agree whole heartedly about the interesting choice. That can't keep bringing back the same tired old actors and just do the story over and over. They can... but why?
They definitely need a shot of something new in each sequel.

Sly Stallone: Harrison Ford in for 'Expendables 3,' 'greedy' Bruce Willis out
Casting news, brought to you by the Twitter feed of one Sylvester Stallone. The actor-producer-director took to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon to announce that Bruce Willis would not be appearing in "Expendables 3," and that Harrison Ford would replace him.

But that's not the whole story. Right after that tweet, Stallone came out with another:

Meow! Willis appeared with Stallone in the first two "Expendables" films, though their relationship seems to have been, well, expended at this point.
Production on the third in the "Expendables" series is expected to start in August, with a release date of Nov. 2014. Other actors whose names have been mentioned as likely to appear include Mel Gibson, Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes and Milla Jovovich.

Whoa! I never thought they would be able to get Harrison Ford to commit to this. Wow. As for Willis, what the f*ck? Did he think that Die Hard 5 was a success and that he can start writing his own checks now? I'd like to see Milla Jovovich, Jackie Chan and Mel Gibson in E3. As for Milla Jovovich, I figured they would have saved her for the female version of the series.

You should listen to the SMoviemakers interview with Rian Johnson, Kevin Smith talks about the two Bruce Willises, how there's one that shows up for the paycheck on movies (like "Cop Out") and the one who cares for original concepts and for writer-directors (like "Looper.")
Besides, what more could Willis do that he didn't already do in the second one? What's wrong with having dudes show up for just one flick.
You know, I could swear I read an article that Harrison Ford was joining Expendables 3 but I can't find it for the life of me... so either it's a rumour that's been debunked or some sort of web dyslexia on my part. Wait for confirmation on that one-- it's one of those things that I don't know if it could happen, but wouldn't surprise me at this point.

I could identify Harrison Ford, but I couldn't find Kelsey Grammar for the life of me. Maybe part of me expected him to be dressed like Frasier Crane.

I'm surprised that both Harrison and Arnie are relegated way off to the side in that Teaser. With the amount of box office clout they had over their careers and what they are bringing to the table in this one, you would think they would be on either side of Stallone, even if their appearance amounts to nothing more than cameo in E3.
