If you are a fan of Breaking Bad (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/dvd's-blu-rays/breaking-bad-(season-1-2008)/msg11717/#msg11717), you will probably like Blow, the life and times of a small time drug dealer that becomes king of the hill. Different drug, same ending. But everything else in between is the rise and subsequent fall of a man that thought he had it all, only to realize in the end, all he needed was his daughter. Johnny Depp is fantastic as George Jung, the biggest "coke dealer" in the states during the late 70's to early 80's. Everything about the film is entertaining and that's a credit to the late Ted Demme. I don't know who the music supervisor was on this film, but whoever it was, they created a kickass soundtrack that could double as a top notch mix tape. A great cast that includes Ray Liotta, Paul Rubens, Penélope Cruz and Franka Potente.
I own this already and can easily recommend this as a Rent if not an outright Buy.
