I wish P!nk's Vevo Channel would just post the entire show instead of breaking it up into sections. What's the point in that? Ugh.

I ran across a live P!nk performance about a week ago and for the life of me can't place it. It was very intimate with a small crowd. She talked a lot between songs mostly about her, her song writing and her new family. It was good and hope to find out when, where, etc.

By the way, these posts are cool. Keep up the nice finds.

P!nk Stops Concert to Scold Women for Making Young Girl Cry

Quote
"Cut it out, you are all grown-ass women," the singer chided two attendees during a performance in Philadelphia.

Pink may be a rock star, but her mothering instincts were sharp as ever last Sunday night, as the singer stopped mid-song at a show in Philadelphia because she heard the sobs of a little girl in the crowd.

And speaking of P!nk in Concert... my girlfriend is coming to St. Louis November 11, 2013

Quote
Due to overwhelming demand, P!nk will extend her highly-acclaimed and sold out, THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE TOUR presented by COVERGIRL, to a total of 60 shows. The tour's electric crowds have enthusiastically embraced her unique brand of high-energy theatrics and emotion-fueled performances that have secured her place in history as one of the most spectacular performers of her generation.   Tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday, March 30th on LiveNation.com.

American Express® Cardmembers can purchase advance tickets beginning on Monday, March 25th at 10 AM local time – Friday, March 29th at 10 PM local time.

THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE TOUR presented by COVERGIRL, will begin the second leg of newly announced dates on October 10th at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California and will make 34 stops as it works its way to the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on December 14, 2013.

P!nk kicked-off the North American tour on February 13th, garnering accolades from critics and fans alike with every extraordinary, imaginative and physical performance along the way. "One of this generation’s most consistently and dependably entertaining performers," said The Washington Post, while the Los Angeles Times raved, “Pink remains perhaps the most gifted and imaginative physical performer in pop right now.”  The Hollywood Reporter added, “These moments proved that she still is one of pop's most powerful vocalists."

P!nk collaborated with creative partner and show director Baz Halpin to create a visually stunning stage production full of the performance elements that are uniquely P!nk. Sonically she soared through pyrotechnic fueled vocals to tender vocal moments with action-packed surprises from start to finish.

Pulling from her seven album repertoire her set included some of her biggest chart topping hits and fan favorites including “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)," "F***in' Perfect," "Try," "Raise Your Glass," and "So What."

P!nk’s seventh album, The Truth About Love debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 as well as in 6 other countries. The album marks P!nk’s first #1 debut in the US and a personal first week sales best.  The album is certified platinum in the U.S. and was nominated for a 2013 Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album.  The Truth About Love produced the smash single “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” which marks P!nk’s 12th Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.

Since her debut in 2000, P!nk (Alecia Moore) has released 7 albums (Can’t Take Me Home, M!ssundaztood, Try This, I’m Not Dead, Funhouse, Greatest Hits So Far!!!, The Truth About Love), sold over 40 million albums, 65 million singles (nearly 20 million digital tracks), over 1 million DVDs worldwide and has had 12 singles in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart (3 at #1).  In addition, 15 of P!nk’s singles have reached #1 in at least 1 or more countries. Tickets go on Sale next Saturday at 10:00 AM. I plan on it. I can only imagine the demand will be high.

I found a site that says it has tickets available? How is that possible? Scam?
Title: Re: P!nk Live
Post by: Chiprocks1 on March 24, 2013, 09:36:48 am
I would go through the reputable site first and see about scoring tickets as fast as you can. The other site I would be leery of them having access to any tickets. They may have them "reserved", but even that is suspect since they haven't officially gone on sale yet. It's most likely a 'fishing' site to get your credit card information.

Score!!!
and Booyah

I don't know how this happens. I somehow got on the American Express Pre-sale list sometime back. Ticket actually do not go on sale til Saturday Morning.

I just scored tickets to P!nk for me and my wife. Nov. 11. Be there or be square.

$96 with tax, shipping, handling and I guess a reach around, it comes to $111.

The only time I paid more was for Michael Buble. I look at these as one time events of folks I really want to see perform.

My girlfriend, who is on loan to you! You best remember that!!!!

LA is 2 hours away if you can drive 60 mph with no traffic. With traffic, add another 5 hours. I'd have to go up the day before and pay for a hotel or something. Or maybe sleep in a park, just to make sure I'd get to the show on time.

P!nk (Funhouse Tour Live In Australia)

I didn't know what I wanted to watch and I was too lazy to get up and rummage through the sh*tload of DVD's I have. So, I just started browsing through hundreds of concerts I have saved via Roku. In the back of my mind, I knew I was gonna end up on P!nk (yeah, I wish I could end up on her. Literally).

I'm gonna keep this review light and give the DVD a proper review that it deserves. I should have gotten my ass up and just put the DVD in, but I went with the one on Roku. Simply put, this is the best concert I've seen of hers and I've seen a few to know this is tops. Sh*t man, I fall in love with her all over again....every time I watch her perform. She is just an amazing singer and performer. Every artist that says that you can't put on a great show with dancing without it affecting the singing clearly sucks as an artist. She is leading the way and making it look so damn easy. Yes, this review is starting to run away. So, time to end it now. But I will say that I looooove her rendition of Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Bohemian Rhapsody and Crazy. The girl has got some serious pipes. Nuff' said.

P!nk: The Truth About Love Tour - November 11, 2013 - Scottrade Center

Whew… found them. We had pretty good seats. Slightly elevated and and about 30 feet from the stage.

OK, going to P!nk’s concert  was the best and worst I’ve been too. Let me get the bad outta of the way. Some of P!nks fans are the most obnoxious people in the world. Surrounded by them and made me question if it was all over the arena.

Directly in front of us was a ‘Hip’ guy and his rather large wife/girlfriend. He petered out with his over the top dancing, half way through the show, thank gawd. She on the other hand stood the entire time. I stood a good part of the show, but sat for the many ballads.  Rhino woman was the only person standing the entire time…. Directly between me & P!nk. WTF.

But the people behind take the prize of being utter asses through the entire show. A guy felt he had to be the funny man with constant  loud comments, but his girlfriend screamed as loud as a woman can every chance she got. WTF. The kicker is they (younger people) talked the entire time of the quiet songs. WTF.... seriously WTF.

I get it. It was a very festive event, and I know every event have those A.H., but why did I have to be within arms length of these jerks.

Now the good stuff. P!nk’s performance is probably one of the best concerts I’ve ever witnessed. Behind Pink Floyd and Elton John. She is the modern day Freddie Mercury. Curtain raises and she literally shot out from beneath the stage floor up about 30 feet doing cirque du soleil trapeze moves with “Raise Your Glass”. Unforgettable.

The stage was like a Broadway set with lamp posts and tiers and video screens everywhere. The light show was decent… not amazing. My Girlfrien…. Er, P!nk changed clothes just about every song. She looked amazing.

P!nk’s energy was kinetic, electric and unending. She also quickly made a connection with the audience. She is what I think of when I think of entertainers. She thoroughly was enjoying herself and embracing the audience. The band was tight. The dancers were awesome. 5 women and 3 men.  They too performed high wire stunts with P!nk. I just don’t know how P!nk sings and performs those stunts like that.

Her set was all hits and mixed it up quite nicely with rockers, anthems and ballads.

At one point between songs, the videos did a very quick (1 minute) evolution of her life, from a child, teen and getting into the recording business. I found it fascinating to see her change. Becoming a mom has changed her dramatically. She at one point talked to a little girl…. Very cute, and then told the audience as much as she wanted to perform songs with the F bomb (F**** Perfect), she is holding back.

P!nk ended the show with a mind blowing fly around the entire arena performing So What. I was stunned. In a harness that propelled her up to just about any airspace she wanted, she floated above the entire crowd, sometimes within hands reach. Twisting and turning. And she was singing her lungs our for crying out loud.

Again unforgettable.

Here's a taste...

Post by: Mac on November 12, 2013, 06:50:27 am
I’ll look for pics and videos. See what I can find.

The opening band was a three piece band from Australia called The Kin (http://thekin.com/). They were interesting (not in musical way) because of their presence. The drumm… er, percussionist, played the drums with his hands… no sticks. They played popish types of songs, none caught my attention. I was fascinated by the drummer, but beyond that, tried as they might, could not get the crowd going. They did perform a song written about America, that got some major applause.

Beyond that… forgettable.

You can always get it new on eBay. There is always a seller or two that undersells their new product just to stick it to companies like Amazon and Best Buy. I don't buy from either one anymore. Haven't for a long time. It has pretty much been eBay for me the last couple of years.

I can use them for the plane flights, but more for the Ipad when in laying around not disturbing the wife.

Someday I might be able to get the Bose Noise cancelling cans. I've demo'd them and they are phenomenal. I've seen folks on planes wearing them. Sure wish I had them when them babies start crying.  :-\

So, this morning, I turned on Palladia at 5 am and the first thing that came on was P!nk: VH1 Storytellers and it was awesome. I originally had other things that I wanted to watch, but just like every other time, I get sucked into the world that is P!nk. She's got a hold on me like no other.  I wish someone would post the entire show on YouTube. No dice. Anway, this is a fantastic, hour-long intimate concert where she tells stories behind some of her biggest hit songs. We all know she is a great songwriter, but she's just as engaging talking to the fans as well. Definitely check this out when you get the chance. This particular show is a couple of years old already, but still fresh in my eyes....and ears. The above clip is P!nk ft. Nate Ruess - Just Give Me a Reason (Live).

WTF is wrong with people

Pink slams critics of her weight

Quote
Pink is standing up against critics of her weight.

The 35-year-old pop star was photographed Saturday night at the John Wayne 30th annual Odyssey Ball in Beverly Hills, California, and apparently heard some negatives comments about the way she looked.

She posted a message on Twitter, admitting that her dress "didn't photograph as well as it did in my kitchen."

"I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight," she tweeted on Sunday. "You're referring to the pictures of me from last night's (Saturday) cancer benefit that I attended to support my dead friend Dr. Maggie DiNome. She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer. But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you."

She went on to note, "In fact, I feel beautiful," before telling fans not to worry about her.

Pink also tweeted that her husband, Carey Hart, and their daughter, Willow, are just fine with the way she looks:

That's my girl...

Quote
The E! reality star shared a **** selfie with fans on Instagram and Twitter Sunday, which elicited jokes from Bette Midler and Piers Morgan and criticism from Chloe Grace Moretz. Kim fired back at the trio, and soon after, several stars came out in her defense, including Rowan Blanchard, Ariel Winter and Bella Thorne. The 35-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star published a letter Tuesday explaining why she's tired of strangers condemning her actions.

In a post titled "Happy International Women's Day," Kim wrote, "I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives. I don't do drugs, I hardly drink, I've never committed a crime—and yet I'm a bad role model for being proud of my body?" After explaining that she's moved on from past scandals, she added, "I am empowered by my body. I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin. I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me. And I hope that through this platform I have been given, I can encourage the same empowerment for girls and women all over the world."

NEWS: WHy Kim Kardashian is being treated unfairly

Shortly after, Pink, seemingly took a potshot at Kim. "Shout out to all of the women, across the world, using their brains, their strength, their work ethic, their talent, their 'magic' that they were born with, that only they possess. It may not ever bring you as much 'attention' or bank notes as using your body, your sex, your **** and asses, but women like you don't need that kind of 'attention,'" the singer wrote. "In the quiet moments, you will feel something deeper than the fleeting excitement resulting from attention, you will feel something called pride and self respect. Keep on resisting the urge to cave. You'll never have to make silly excuses for yourself."

Kim has not responded to Pink's tweet.

Amber, who made amends with Kim earlier this year after Kanye West dissed the model, took to Instagram Wednesday to side with the Selfish author. "Pink we were all born naked society sexualizes our breast and bodies. If a grown mother of 2 is comfortable with her body and wants to show it off that's none of ur business or anyone else's. Now, if u wanna talk to kids and be a mentor to young teens, tell them to go to school and to not use their bodies to get ahead?! I'm all for it!" she wrote. "But please as a grown woman let another grown woman live as she wishes. That's our problem! We're so quick to down each other instead of uplifting!"

Man, I am getting tired of people saying Epic. Everything is NOT EPIC!!!

rant over

Pink's Billboard Music Awards Performance Is So Epic She's Been Rehearsing It In A Top Secret Location!

Pink? More like red hot!!!

The Billboard Music Awards are set to air LIVE this Sunday, which means we're only two days away from getting to see Britney Spears and Celine Dion rock the Las Vegas stage!

And while Brit-Brit and Celinita are going to be the night's most celebrated musical acts, it sounds like we should really be excited for Pink.

That's because executive producer Mark Bracco just shared some insider information that the singer's performance of Just Like Fire from Alice Through the Looking Glass is going to be epic!

In fact, Mark even toll Billboard Magazine on Thursday that the routine is so impressive that Pink is actually rehearsing in secret completely isolated from all the other pop stars, saying:

Quote
"You don't want to miss Pink. She has done incredible award performances — she has flown through the air, there have been acrobatics and fire — but it's all going to come together in this performance!"

We literally don't know how we'll be able to survive these next two days now!

Make sure to catch Pink and all the rest of the acts when Ciara and Ludacris host the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday, May 22 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC!

I've been seeing TV Spots for this the past month and the only thing I'm tuning in is of course P!nk. I wasn't planning on staying any longer than that, but the last few TV Spots have also been hyping up a Prince Tribute by Madonna. So, naturally I will check that out as well. Maybe the show will serve up a lot of good, quality performances. Since I don't know when either will be performing, looks like I will watch from the beginning.

As you know, I don't typically watch these. Maybe I'll remember and sit down to watch this.

That looks professional. Ever put out on DVD?

Pink is sooooo approachable with her audience.

Good gawd with all the people holding up their phones to video this... WTF

I don't think it's ever been put on DVD. That's why I was kinda surprised to see and hear of this. Had it been released, I would have assumed I'd run into to it by accident by now.
