Finally a solid season premiere that didn't suck. A lot went down in this one and I for sure thought they were going to kill Dixon off for a few seconds. But when they were dragging out Annie identifying Dixon at the morgue, I knew he would be revealed to be at the hospital. Interesting turn of events with Liam burning down his Bar. It's just a question of just how fast his crazy Manager/Ex Girlfriend will use the information to blackmail him back into a relationship. Was kinda surprised to see Lori Loughlin return to the show. With Dixon being laid up for the foreseeable future, she will be around for the time being. I don't like Max's business partner which means he is going to add some much needed drama to the show as he tries to break up Max and Naomi.

This was a very odd episode and a lot of things just did not sit well with me because it was absurd. First, I just don't buy that anyone, no matter how low their self esteem may be, can bang a complete stranger in Vegas and then suddenly have "feelings" that Adriana apparently has for the Promoter Guy, The longing looks and jealousy at Naomi's party just did not ring true at all. Dixon in a wheelchair, already at home and able to go to the party also doesn't make sense given the devastating car crash he just survived. Annie "teaching" Dixon a lesson by giving him the slient treatment so soon after begging and praying that he would survive and live. False!
Now for the best part of the entire episode: Vanessa and Liam. A lot of people getting tossed off balconies this week. First it was Amanda on Revenge (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/tv/revenge-(season-2)/msg13324/#msg13324) and now Vanessa takes a flying leap, courtesy of Liam. Speaking of hard to swallow character turns. Suddenly he has no problems burning down his bar and taking the insurance money and now he is willing to retract his 911 call so that Vanessa for all intents and purposes can drown. Well, we all know she will pop up down the road. I like this new crazy psycho! She is a cross between Emily Valentine and Jen Clark.
FYI, the money shot to end all money shots happens in the first 1 minute of the episode. Good God, did you see Naomi rockin' that bikini?! Yowzza!!! (http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i266/Chiprocks1/Smilies/0%20All%20Smilies/HTL_drool.gif)

Look, I don't expect a show like 90210 to stay true to the realities of the world, but this arc with Dixon is about the most ridiculous thing I have ever come across. So, he is in a major car accident that leaves him confined to a wheel chair for the first two episodes and now, all he needs is some guy to yell at him and to kick his ass to prompt him out of said chair? Which by the way, he did pretty quickly with no problems. And now he is surfing the very same day? You don't see anything wrong with this picture? They way he was hopping around the bar, you'd think the worst he suffered in the crash was a sprained ankle. Sheesh!!
And now for Silver. How much you wanna bet that the negatives for her **** photos are going to leak out a lot sooner than you think, branding her in a way she doesn't want to be branded. The twist with Vanessa was somewhat interesting. I don't think for one second she has fled the states. Duh.
Oh, and I just realized just now, this very second. Where the f*ck is Ivy?!

How can such a weak episode leaves such a lasting impression on my impressionable mind? The whole Naomi/Max and Navid/Dixon/Liam story taking place out in the woods was booooooooring! And don't even get me started on Liam's new co-star for him upcoming movie. But, she did rock that bikini for sure. Not to be outdone was Adrianna's strip dress rehearsal that she performed. Hated the song, loved the moves. And it seems like the sleaze won't be stopping anytime soon. It looks like Silver will be shaking her moneymaker soon since we see her signing up to do just that. Wheeeeeee!!

I wonder who Colin is working with? Perhaps it's Alex and he is just trying to steal everything from Max so that he can get 100% of the profits. This episode did have two sucky moments. Dixon "rapping" was one of them. But I think the viewers that watch this show would agree that we got gypped when they didn't even show Silver doing his strip thang. Bah!! Also, they kinda trampled all over Nelly Furtado's cameo with talking head scenes.

The Con

I know these are fictional characters and characters that I shouldn't even waste my time with, but I felt bad that Max got his intellectual property stolen from him so easily by Colin. I think that is the last we see from both Colin and Alec and I'm A-Ok with that. Good riddance. Now for the best scene of the entire episode: Naomi as Slave Leia! Ka-Ching!!!! The scenes at the Con were fun.

Meh. Kind of a boring episode with the lame Annie/Riley subplot still going. End this story-line now. Also, the whole Dixon/Adriana thing needs to hurry up and self implode. It's only a question of WHEN that video of Adriana doing that stip tease music video and then doing what's his face will surface and Dixon finds out. The only good thing about this episode was the most obvious regarding Liam's "Security Guard". I knew that she was just a Stalker posing as a Cop to get close to him. I found it very humorous when we see her getting a tattoo of his face on his back. Hahaha.

902-100
(http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i266/Chiprocks1/Star%20Ratings/HTL_04star.gif)
902-100 played like a joke episode. But at least it was entertaining. As far as a "greatest hits" episode goes, it was both good and bad. The good was bringing back Jasper, who I had totally forgotten about. Not sure if this is a return to the series or not. The implied it might be with him giving Liam a script to read and possibly star in. But this is 90210. They pretty much end arcs after 3 episodes if they get that far. The bad was not bringing back Naomi's sister. She sould have been involved in some way....like trying to steal Naomi's thunder at the gala. Looks like Vanessa's back. My guess is that it's gonna be her that saves Liam from her "bodyguard".
Denise Richards and Carmen Electra have cameo's. Actually, Carmen was in the last episode as well.

Entertaining episode with a bunch of twists coming at the end. But I couldn't help think while watching this at how lite it all felt. It came off like a 'Afternoon School Special' version of superior shows that did it a lot better. Referring of course to the original Melrose Place which had this down to a science. As for the twist, it was obvious that "Police" chick would kidnap Liam. I knew that Teddy would turn his impending baby relationship with Silver into a legal one. What I didn't see coming at all was the fact that Alex orchestrated Max losing his company because he had a thing for him. Overall, like I said, lite....but entertaining.

How the hell does Liam tazer his psycho stalker and then 15 seconds later she is able to stand up as if nothing just happened? That is pretty much how bad the writing on the show can get sometimes. Overall, this episode was awful and very boring. The only saving grace came at the end when Annie gets shot. Please writer her off the show. The other good thing was seeing Silver forge the paternity papers. Stick it to the man!

What an odd episode and one that was pretty much a throw away since none of it happened. I dunno what the writers are doing, but wasting an hour of story telling in a "what if" scenario with Annie dreaming what life would be like without her was a waste of time. It did however offer a couple of laughs: Dixon as a Rapper (Unintentionally funny) and Navid as a B-Boyyyy Hanger-on (Intentionally funny). Other than that...boring. Adriana did look smoking hot...even if she was strung out on whatever.

Wow, that was pretty shocking. It's a long running joke that the writers on the show get rid of actor's with impunity once they have estabhlished them in a relationship with those that are part of the Main Character pool. But this is a new record. They have been toying with the idea of Riley and Annie for a while now. So it was totally unexpected that as soon as it was official that they were a couple, they killed off Riley. Crazy...and totally counterproductive for a series that needs some sort of stability with the actors they bring on the show.
Elsewhere, even I though it was cold that Teddy would allow Silver to have the embryo's, contingent on her agreeing that a 3rd party gets to carry the baby to term. Ouch.

Average episode that did net a couple of moments, one funny and one surprising. The funniest thing about this one was Adriana pulling a "Lindsay Lohan" and embarrassing herself at a show, all in the hopes of getting out of her contract. It was so ridiculously over the top that you can't help but laugh at it and her. The surprising moment was the reveal that Navid hooked up with what turned out to be the potential Surrogate for Silver. And speaking of Silver, does she not see what's happening? She will be railroaded by Teddy, his boyfriend and the Surrogate as they try to "steal" the baby from her.

Ooooooooooooooffff course. Why didn't I see that coming? Having Dixon now pursue Silver's surrogate to become his next big act on his record label is so 90210. Ugh. Can't the writers give me one good story line that isn't riddled with cliches? Think outside of the box! Speaking of box, they need to have Liam do something other than obsessing over a box. His story line has run its course. Do something else already!

Meh. Another average episode. Why am I still watching this? Liam wants to get into the brewing business. Dixon wants to keep another secret from Silver. Annie is pinning after Liam. Naomi wants to bond with her Half-Brother. Navid wants....really not sure what's going on with him. But stilll.....I will stick it out till the end of this season, but this is most likely my final season that I will watch. The writers are just horrible and putting together any kind of arc that can go the distance.

Who would have guessed....a decent episode. Sure, a lot of it had to do with the fact that it centered on Chicks, Bikini's and surfboards. But it had a little more going for it. I've been waiting to see when Navid's nemesis would reveal that he is setting him up. At least this story line is going somewhere. Hopefully it pays off. Adriana for the win in this one. Lame. Dumb. Stupid. Why am I still watching this? Talk about some pretty horrid writing. So, the entire episode is centered on Naomi finding out who she married after getting plastered. And the big reveal at the end is that she married.....herself. Ugh. The writers on this show are a frickin' joke. They even dropped the ball when Liam was to beat up Navid to sell the lie that they are no longer friends. All we get is one punch to the face and then cut to commercial. Lame indeed.

'90210' Cancelled By The CW: Series To End Five-Year Run In May (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/28/90210-cancelled-by-the-cw_n_2784884.html)
I am not at all surprised at the news this finally bit the dust. Honestly, it should have been cancelled once they ditch the idea of using former stars from the original series. I'm actually happy that it's officially over now. It will do the one thing that I couldn't do personally....and that was walk away from the series. I don't know why I stayed with the show all these years, especially with the horrible writing. I guess maybe my loyalty to the original series is a factor for sticking with the show, hoping the new incarnation could capture some of that magic. It never did.

A rare 90210 episode that was actually entertaining. The best stuff of course comes at the end when the sh*t hits the fan after people find out that Annie wrote the 'hoooooker-tell-all' book. But everything leading up to it was just as entertaining as well. Not sure what's going on with Navid and Adriana. Are they getting back together or is this just another temporary hookup? I dunno, kinda looking forward to the next episode to see what goes down with everyone. Curious to hear what Naomi's new "boyfriend" has to say about his deep, dark secret. Liam's the one that got it the worst, finding out his current girlfriend was using him to get money and then finding out Annie wrote about him in her book. Ouch.

The Empire State Strikes Back

Only two things of interest happened in this one. One was the threat from Patrick toward Annie for revealing her secret (which is also his secret) when she comes out as the author of the book. I wonder how far he will go to get back at Annie. The other interesting thing is knowing that Adriana will in fact lose it and will sabotage Silver any way she can. The question is by how much. As for the rest of the episode.....boring.

Just based on this episode, I know the series finale is going to end with a 'Thud'. But then again, the entire series thus far dictates that it end that way. The only thing of interest was the short leash that Naomi's new boyfriend has when it comes to his mother (Robin Givens). I am curious as to what she is holding over his head to make him such a wuss.

What the hell just happened? Did they really "blow up" the stage that Adriana was performing on? It seemed so out of left field with no setup of what was to come. Yeah, I'm sure it gonna be tied back to the Preppy Kid that got caught cheating and this was his way of getting back at Liam. But like I said, it came out of nowhere and I have to speculate here. Ack!

We All Fall Down
(http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i266/Chiprocks1/Star%20Ratings/HTL_03star.gif)
As far as Series Finale's go, this one was a dud. There are just too many story lines that are left in limbo and with no more episodes, it's gonna annoy me more down the road. The series as a whole just never lived up to its potential. The writers were way too inconsistent to do anything of merit. Too many stand along episodes with no forethought to something longer in the way of multi-episode arcs. As for this last one, everything was contrived when it came to each characters "moment". Meh.

Series is now officially in the books (Thank God). Moving thread to TV's Greatest Hits & Misses.
