This is the granddaddy of all documentaries pertaining to the Star Wars films. The doc clocks in at a whopping 2 1/2 hours long and dissects everything you could possibly want to know about the Original Trilogy. It's got everything you can imagine here. The screen test footage is one to watch, especially when getting to see the likes of Kurt Russell, William Katt and Cindy Williams auditioning for the roles of Luke, Leia and Han. The doc goes deep in all the behind the scenes turmoil associated with things going wrong when trying to make a blockbuster film. Along with the production of the films, it also packs a lot of on screen testimonials from the core group of actors as well as those that put the movie together. Watching this doc just makes me want to watch the movies all over again. It's that good and very informative.

The DVD copy I have comes from the 2004 Widescreen Box Set as part of the Bonus Disc and is the sole reason why I even picked up the Set in the first place. I don't know if the Doc has ever been sold as a stand alone DVD. So, if you want to check this one out, this is definitely worth a Buy. Seriously, this is worth it in every sense of the word.
