Jennifer's Body is a f*cking joke of a movie. I like Juno a lot, written by Diablo Cody. But this movie is lame in so many ways. I don't buy into the whole idea that this is a "fresh" take on the horror genre through the female perspective. If anything, I think this movie sets the genre back in large part because Cody did not set up the rules for the movie. I don't think it's a smart move to keep everyone in the dark about what is the deal with Jennifer (Megan Fox). Was she beaten and ****? Is she a Ghost? What's the black tar stuff she is yakking? Why does she attack and kill the football player in the Forrest? Keeping me guessing what's going on only took me out of the movie, not engaged in it. By the time they reveal what happened to her, I could have cared less.

Also, the ending was stupid. If anyone is going to seek revenge on Low Shoulder (The Band), it absolutely should have been Jennifer. She was the victim. Having Needy (Amanda Seyfried) slaughtering them was just to set up a potential sequel. I'm very disappointed in the movie and in Cody. Amanda was about the only good thing going and even this wasn't enough to save the movie. This is a Skip. Rent this at your own risk. Even the "lesbian" angle isn't enough to make me want to sit through this turd again.

I did like the song by "Low Shoulder" though.

In my mind, this was clearly a rushed project to get out because Fox was at the top of the hot list of women... at the time. So... let's capitalize on it right. Jennifer's Bod-De.

I too thought this was soooo lame. Sure some pre-pubescent boys are gonna love Jennifer's Body no matter what. It was also about this time her reputation as a diva, ****, etc starting coming out.

It's taken awhile but I've learned character over beauty will reign. I think it was very apparent why she was in films, but it was not due to her acting ability.

Megan Fox needs to reevaluate her career. Does she want to be just another flavor of the month or does she want a long career with meaty roles? As it stand now, she is heading straight down the road Lindsay Lohan has been on, with a far shorter career. She can't keep doing roles like this or she will never get anywhere.

Well you bring up Ms. Lohan and I don't understand the persistent interest in her. It's it because of the bad girl persona? Who are these folks pursuing her?

It only shows, that Fox may still remain viable. Groan

Well to be fair to Lohan, she was a great actor at one time and extremely personable. So the interest in her now is more voyeuristic, waiting to see what is going to happen next. Will she go down in flames like a lot of other child actors, never to recover? Or will she get her **** together, do the work and redeem herself like Drew Barrymore and Robert Downey Jr.? I for one would love to see Lohan make it. But sadly, she looks to be joining a club that isn't all that exclusive.

So far, Megan Fox hasn't imploded and starting drinking a drug (that we know of). I was just pointing out that she needs to do quality work to give herself a shot at a long career. She can't continue to play the same "dumb" roles over and over again. I know she's not stupid, but she is making poor choices because she wants to capitalize on her looks. Maybe with her having just had a baby, it will refocus her goals and she will start to do some good movies in the future.

I always thought the basics of supply and demand work. If Ms. Lohan is indeed a good actor, she will continue to work. Her antics may keep her alive like a Paris Hilton... for awhile, but audiences get tired of paying for crap.

Ms. Fox does indeed need to know her body will get old quick for the public. Someone else will come in and take the spotlight.

If Ms. Lohan is indeed a good actor, she will continue to work.

Not necessarily. She has already burned some bridges and has been blackballed by a few directors and producers who refuse to hire her. Also, there is the insurance issue that is required of every actor on set. Even a good actress becomes a major insurance liability if she continues to do what she is doing.

That's just it. The part I don't get. Who are these guys... "Hey... Lindsey Lohan, let's give her a call"

Really? What sparked that thought?

Capitalizing on her "face time" in the press to drum up business for a movie that would never get any press without her. It's a crap shoot. But you see her constantly getting into trouble, she would find herself on the outside looking in.
