Season 2 continues the excellent standards that from Season 1 and I enjoyed it very much. But I do think that they should have resolved at least one of the big threads much earlier. I was expecting that Season 2 would pick up right where the cliffhanger left off with Peggy giving birth to Pete's baby. At least tie this up with the first couple of episodes. But they didn't. They actually dragged it all the way to the very end of the season. More to the point, Peggy doesn't tell Pete about his child until the second to last scene of the final episode. That's kind of just stretching the plot way too long and the payoff, or what I was expecting to happen....just never materialized. The cliffhanger for Season 2 isn't one of the better ones...for any series. Having Betty tell Don that she is pregnant doesn't really scream out that you need to tune in for Season 3 to see what happens next, especially after how the dealt with Peggy / Paul's baby.

Anyway, other than these little minor annoyances, Season 2 was a fun ride, if a bit slower than last. I'm still trying to figure out who the story is really about. Don or Peggy? Yes, I know that technically Mad Men revolves around Don and Betty, but I find that Peggy is the more fascinating character to watch, especial during this season because she is just so....odd. And Pete is just as odd as her, Definitely worth a Rent.
