'Wayne's World 3' Is Apparently Happening, and Mike Myers Has Already Finished the Script – Not! (http://splitsider.com/2012/11/waynes-world-3-is-apparently-happening-and-mike-myers-has-already-finished-the-script/)

I've been waiting for WW3 for years. The movie....not the war. The first movie was great and hit all the right spots. The second, although not a complete disaster, was somewhat of a letdown, which is why I want the 3rd installment. So they can redeem themselves somewhat.

My mind was BLOWN the first time I saw "Withnail and I" and Del showed up as the exact same character.

Wayne's World 3.  I know everyone was screaming for it again after the SNL appearance a couple years ago but I don't know if it's a good idea.  It was fun to see them again but it sorta fell flat after a few minutes.  I have no idea what the new flick could possibly be about.  So I'm wary, but I'd have to see something.

Although, since there's been REAL Wayne's World type shows out there like Diggnation, maybe there IS something they could draw on., but I doubt Myers and co are aware of their existence.

The story is basically Wayne and Garth having to readjust to the music scene as it is now and that they will no longer have a 'basement show' on public access TV, but will incorporate the technology of today, i.e. YouTube, etc.... There's plenty to draw from. I wouldn't nix a third movie just because a skit fell flat on TV.

I've never seen these flicks. I've seen some of the SNL stuff, but it never interested me to check em out.

I'll pass
