Premieres September 22, 2011

This is pretty damn good news that it premieres in September and NOT as a mid-season replacement. No news on whether it's going to be for a full 22 episodes though. Even though it's critically acclaimed, it has struggled in the ratings in each of the first three seasons. So getting 22 episodes for Season 4 is a stretch. Maybe and hopefully the audience will finally find and embrace the show and that it will force NBC to order the back nine. It's never a good sign when it went from 24 episodes in Season 2 down to 16 for Season 3.

Overall, a decent opening to Season 4.

If it weren't for Rob Lowe, this episode would have gotten just 3 Stars. Average episode. But Rob was so good and so funny here that it pushed it up another notch.

The scenes between Jerry (Jim O'Heir) and Chris (Rob Lowe) were by far the best and funniest. I don't know what was funnier, Jerry hearing that his daughter is dating Chris or the realization that Chris may one day become his son-in-law. Also, the Swanson Club was a hoot at the end.

I laughed when Leslie was annoyed, but proud (but also annoyed) when her girls asked for a democratic forum to decide whether the boys should be allowed in.  It was a good episode in general.

After the abysmal Halloween episode on The Office, we get a pretty good one tonight. Andy as "Chuck Lidell" was funny. Jerry's reaction to seeing his daughter getting a little too physical with Chris at the party was priceless. This is really the first time they are using Jerry to great effect on the show. The only downside to the episode was Tom's 720 Entertainment bit. This has gone on for far too long. Good news is that his company is finish. So, no more of that story arc. Wheeeeeeee!!!!

Another great moment with Jerry with him trying to get out of a meeting with Chris who is trying to learn why his relationship with Millicent is on the rocks. Jerry is turning out to be the MVP for this season. The United Nations stuff was pretty funny with Ben and Leslie declaring war on each other.

Funny idea with the Park. So tiny. Looks like Leslie and Ben are back together, which is gonna rock the city as the scandal hits. Well, probably not. That's just what Leslie thinks. Andy's idea of "women empowerment" in his college class was also funny.

Best episode of the season so far. Some pretty good laugh out loud moments, but it was the ending and the manner in which Ben reveals his true feelings to Leslie that made it truly memorable. A nice, but predictable follow up was the way Leslie reciprocated her feelings for Ben. Rob Lowe was hilarious once again. And the year of Jerry continues when we find out what his real name is.

Haha. Loved it.

I like the idea of the core group of the show behind Leslie Knope's political campaign. It's going to offer us a lot more laughs for sure as they are sure to botch it all up and yet, she will win in the end. Also, I thought Jean-Ralphio (Ben Schwartz) popping up in the mall was hilarious and then he tops it off with "...and then she ripped the hair from my B-hole". Haha. Who comes up with this stuff?

Some wicked funny sight gags in The Comeback Kid. The 3-legged Dog to Ben's Claymation movie to the Ice Skating Rink had me busting a gut. This was top notch, funny stuff all around and just proves that P&R is the funniest thing on the air right now. They are knocking it out of the park left and right this season.

I couldn't stop laughing the entire time. Paul Rudd as Bobbie Newport was awesome. Rob Lowe's laughing had me howling with glee. And the crown jewel of the episode was Andy (Chris Pratt) and April (Aubrey Plaza). So damn funny. Gotta watch it again. Possibly another 10 x's. It's THAT funny. Awesome!

By far the best episode this season. Everything was clicking and was so damn funny. Leslie's way of "chilling" had me cracking up. Ron's reaction to Tom's bowling style was hilarious! Tom's girlish whining when he got hurt still has me laughing.  April's multiple phone voices another golden moment for the episode. Ron bowling a perfect game using Tom's method was the crown jewel on a perfect episode. Just a hysterical half hour that deserves a repeat performance. Gotta watch this one again. There isn't a better comedy on the air right now. P&R is at the top.

Another fantastic episode. Very funny. Even with Chris (Rob Lowe) being a Debbie-Downer, he is still able to get laughs by what he says and does. His 'longing' toward Jerry was both creepy and hysterical. Hahahaha. Really cool to see Louis C.K. return as Dave. But the episode just seemed way off for me. Even though there were some funny moments with Chris (Rob Lowe) singing in the studio, the whole 'Tom pursuing Ann' angle was annoying as hell. Now that I have seen them 'paired up', I don't think I wanna see them get together if this is what we can expect down the road.

I enjoyed the episode, but they seriously need to end the Tom and Ann coupling. It's not fun. I find that them as a couple is bringing the show to a screeching halt whenever they are on screen. I rather see Ann and Chris getting back together. At least they have chemistry together, even if it was a one-sided relationship.

It's official. Parks and Recreation is my favorite comedy this season. Actually, it's been my favorite the last couple of seasons. This show has been so good and so on-the-mark, I wouldn't be surprised if NBC renewed it for an additional 20 seasons right now. What's really great is that everyone gets to shine here in one way or another. Although I do think that Retta is still underused. Get her more time and watch the show get even better....if that's even possible. This episode was very funny and it was super cool to see Carl Reiner guest-starring as Ned Jones. I wonder ifBobby Newport (Paul Rudd) will come back for another guest spot to wrap up his arc. I'm pretty sure he would because I can't see the campaign going anywhere if Leslie doesn't have anyone to debate against. Kathryn Hahn was really funny as Jennifer, the new campaign manager for Bobby Newport.

Although a drunk Ann is funny, she isn't all that funny with Tom. She always looks bored and pained at the same time whenever he is by her side. End the relationship. They break up at the end, but who's to say they are going to stay that way. Their relationship has been the only blemish so far in an otherwise stellar season. Hopefully something good and funny comes out of what is still a head scratching decision on Ann's part. If she is that lonely, then she should just get back with Chris. Poor Chris, that dude has got some serious blues. I wasn't expecting that chick to randomly hook up with Ron. Funny guest spot by Sean Hayes. I had no idea he was even scheduled to appear on the series.

The episode was kinda all over the place with 3 separate stories being told at once. I thought the ending was pretty good in that all Leslie needed to do to get one over on her opponent would simply be to have a debate. Can't wait for Bobby Newport (]Paul Rudd) to return for the showdown.

One of NBC's few shows that are still worth watching...I have liked this season as well, and agree that the Tom/Ann relationship is ridiculous and needs to end.  I think they have been hinting that Chris might want to get back with Ann again.

I'm on board with Chris and Ann getting back together, more so now then when there were actually a couple, because now we have a better understanding of how neurotic their relationship was based on the things she has disclosed to other people. It would be even funnier because I'm sure they would ramp up those foibles.

Rob Lowe has been so damn funny this season.

The episode was good just not great. I was expecting something more epic. Not sure what it is, but the pacing was kinda off. It may have to do with the fact that I watched Amy Poehler's Director's Cut instead of the episode that aired on TV. I think there is something to be said about having a lean version where all the fat is trimmed off to tighten up the pacing. Director's Cuts tend to get bloated by putting in scenes just for the sake of making it longer. I will definitely check out the original cut and see if my issues with the episode as a whole are solved.

Anyway, props to Andy for his movie reenactments, especially Rambo. Awesome. No props to Tom. He annoys the hell out of me, more so in this episode with his constant whining because Ann broke up with him. Looks like a Ann / Chris reunion won't be happening now that she shot down any idea of them getting back together again.

Yeah, Tom's character used to be funny and cool to watch.  Now he is just annoying, and not in a good way.  I did like Andy's renditions of movies, and I thought they gave Leslie a great summation speech for her campaign.  Paul Rudd did a great job as Bobby Newport yet again.  I think this show keeps going, maybe not for the ratings, but because it has such great characters.

This episode was gold for one reason and one reason alone: The Pie in Jerry's face. Having Andy reenact the Pie Incident to "crack the case" was HILARIOUS!!! This was an awesome episode and extremely satisfying as a Season Finale. But it does leave us hanging as to whether or not Rob Lowe and Adam Scott will be returning to Parks and Recreation. I sure hope they do, because as good as the cast was before they joined, it was the addition of these two that elevated the show to EPIC heights and has made this the best comedic ensemble on TV in the last couple of years. This season was awesome by everyone involved (except Tom). Sorry dude, but your whining was a bit much. Lucky for you, the rest of the cast was able to pick up the slack.

Loved this episode and it was pretty cool to see Jean-Ralphio (Ben Schwartz) pop up at the end, looking for a job. I liked that they ended the episode on Jerry and his failure to cast his vote. It was ironic that the one guy that was obsessed with helping run the campaign was so dialed in on doing a good job that he ends up forgetting to vote.

Yeah, that was a good episode.  I think that Adam Scott's Ben returns for next season.  I am not sure on Rob Lowe, but I am guessing yes, he will.  Parks and Rec was picked up for another season too, so we can breathe that sigh of relief.  This show, The Office, and surprisingly, Whitney, are the only shows that I pay attention to for NBC.  I don't really trust that network to keep shows.

There was talk that P&R was in fact on the bubble right? I heard that the ratings weren't all that encouraging. So, this is great news that its coming back for another round.
