'Horrible Bosses 2' Moving Forward

I have a feeling the studio may have their hands on the next Hangover Franchise. Just don't beat this one into the ground by retreading over the same plot. Also...must bring back Jennifer!!!!!

Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis Close Deals for 'Horrible Bosses 2' (Exclusive) (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/horrible-bosses-2-jason-bateman-427042)

I see one more reason why Sudeikis has to leave SNL (hey, Aniston's in "The Millers" as well).
Here's the thing though, they could cast ANOTHER sexy boss lady for Charlie's character. Some little squeaky-voiced guys get all the luck.
But honestly, what are the odds that they'll get into the same predicament? Sequels for comedies... those can be iffy things, you know?

I'm confident that the writers and film maker will have learned from the fiasco and fan backlash over what become The Hangover. If they can give us something unique and original, while retaining some elements from the first film, it could be good. Getting the 3 main stars with the potential for Jamie Foxx returning as well is giving me confidence. Just bring back Jen!!!! She should return, it most likely will be in just a cameo role. I dunno. Maybe they already have something bigger planned for her. Who knows. I think Spacey is a given to return, even though no word has been mentioned about him.

If I've learned anything, it's that people don't learn nothin'.
I SUPPOSE you could go bigger in scope, make it about some bigger company that could swoop in or some such, you know? Horrible Boardroom.

Studios don't give a s hit... Except to make money. If Horrible Bosses made a decent return and a sequel has potential, they could give rats ass what the story is. Dumbasses will pluck down bucks to see it.
Kinda what Neumatic was saying.

HB2 will be the Empire Strikes Back of the series!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I wrote a whole thing but I gotta answer:
HB2 will be the Die Hard 2: Die Harder of the series.
Sequels work for science fiction, for superheroes, anything where you can get mileage out of the concept. The thing about comedies is that those events can only happen once, the movie is built around ONE problem that they have to solve, and people have a tough time buying in to the same problem happening twice. PLUS a huge part of comedy is timing, and you gotta put as MUCH pressure on your characters as possible in order to get them to screw up in a big way-- because that's when the funniest things happen.

I heard Krstin Whig (?), of Bridesmaids talk about that and sequels. The studio immediately asked her for 2, but she said no thanks. "I put everything into Bridesmaids to make it as funny as possible." And she said something along the lines, she had no desire for a follow up because its been done... What she wanted out of the story.
