I will not pay to see this in the theater. Won't even rent it. But I will check it out at the library.
I did laugh at a scene or two ;)
Jaskass Presents: Bad Grandpa
Back in 2010, it seemed pretty clear that Jackass 3D would likely be the final feature film with the entire Jackass crew together on screen inflicting bodily harm on each other. Indeed, the unfortunate death of Ryan Dunn a year later has since made a full reunion impossible, but apparently they have still found a way to continue making movies under the Jackass name. Last year we heard rumours that Paramount might be prepping a new Jackass movie under the title Bad Grandpa, and now this week the first trailer for that very movie has arrived.
As expected, the movie is shying away from the elaborate stunts and instead focuses entirely on sketches where Johnny Knoxville dons old man make-up to play pranks on the general public. What’s surprising is that Johnny Knoxville seems to be the only member of the Jackass crew that is actually in the movie. He has essentially stolen Sacha Baron Cohen’s schtick, writing a fictional story around pranks involving real people. It still looks like it could be pretty funny though. Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa hits theatres on Oct. 25th; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
