Same cast of characters, but things get a little bit more defined and unpredictable with all involved. First off, Nancy leverages herself a "get out of jail free" card by marrying her DEA boyfriend. Everything seems to be working until she realizes that she doesn't love him and wants nothing to do with him. So what to do? Nothing she can do because she is so far over her head in this whole Pot dealing business that she goes into panic mode at the first sign of trouble. The Season Finale does a great job of setting up the next season with the cliffhanger when she and Conrad discover that her eldest son, Silas stole their huge stash of weed. A place not to be is in the middle of a Mexican Standoff with all sides demanding said stash. To top it off, you have Celia and a Cop closing in on Silas with a car trunk full of weed. $500 k's worth.
Making this season even better is having a 2 episode stint by Zooey Deschanel as Andy's Ex Girlfriend. Very funny. How can you not wanna love her? Also great was mixing up Celia and Doug's relationship by turning to people that are sworn enemies into having an affair. It gave both Nealon and Perkins something more to do instead of being on the outside of what drives this series. The entire season is great and this is definitely worth a Rent. For me, I already own this on DVD.
