I like The Lost Boys in spite of Corey Feldman's involvement. His "acting" within the film is pretty laughable, especially that "Barry White" voice he is using during his line readings. If you've seen one Feldman movie, you've seen them all, so you should have an idea of what I'm referring to.

With that out of the way, I have always enjoyed The Lost Boys and it is a good addition into the Vampire Genre. The movie looks really good, especially now. I haven't watched this movie in ages and I don't remember the cinematography looking as good as it does on the Two-Disc Special Edition. The story is solid, but it does have some flaws. I just wish that the big fight between Jason Patrick and Kiefer Sutherland could deliver in a way that the setup promised. I mean, we are basically just biding our time throughout the entire movie for their inevitable clash and when it finally arrives, it's over in a matter of minutes. The same can be said with Edward Herrmann as well.

Definitely worth a rent that also includes Corey Haim, Jami Gertz, Dianne Wiest, Alex Winter, Jamison Newlander and Barnard Hughes. I own the DVD, but for whatever reason, I have never bothered to check out the two sequels which are fairly recent. I might try and see if I can get a hold of them from my library if they have any copies that is.

That's the LEAST likely time I'll be able to get my hands on it, you gotta reckon.  Heck, I'm not even gonna try to get my hands on any more Christmas movies, I'm sure those are all wrapped up for the rest of the eyar.
