T2 3-D: Battle Across Time (1996)

It's nice to have this to post and watch. But there is NOTHING that can replace the thrill of watching this live in the theater with all the 3D and Special FX they throw at you. They first released this in Florida before it opened in California. Yes, I went all the way to Florida just to attend this thrill ride. Suck on that b*tches! That's dedication...or a complete nerd on my part.  ;D

Terminator 2 Battle Across Time (Universal Studios)

I watched the full stage show (with Movie). The quality of the video is meh. It doesn't do the experience justice. You have to be there. Feel it. Live it.

I'm so glad I was able to do this ride before it shut down.  I remember seeing the trailer/commercial for it as a kid and it always stuck with me: the idea of going into the future to make a final stand against the machines!  And to finally get a chance as an adult, it was like discovering one of the last missing pieces of my childhood... the only thing I could compare it to is discovering that there was a fourth Back To The Future or Star Wars film we'd never heard about, that we just happen to have right here.

Are both Rides shut down? I was fortunate to actually hit both the one in Cali and the one in Florida multiple times. Bummer if they are no longer around as it's the best 3D experience I've ever had. The experience itself is worth keeping it running in spite of it being tied to a movie made back in 1991.
