The name Jackass in the title alone should clue you in to what you're about to see. But unlike Johnny Knoxville's previous 'Candid Camera' movies created for the stake of catching real people and their reactions to the absurdities they are witnessing, Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa actually has a narrative. It's a simple plot of Grandpa having to deliver his Grandson to his deadbeat father. It's a road trip movie and along the way with telling a simple story, we get quite a few 'Candid Camera' setups to get some priceless, laugh out loud moments. I can't tell how much a laughed, but I can say that my sides hurt and it was funny enough to have tears rolling down my face. People like to compare Bad Grandpa to Borat and I can see why those comparison's are made. But I absolutely hated Borat and didn't think it was funny at all. But Bad Grandpa was the movie that I had been expecting Borat to be.

Beyond the obvious sight gags that we get, I think the best part about the movie is the chemistry between Knoxville and Jackson Nicoll who plays his grandson. They are so good together that I'd like to see a sequel just to see them work together again. Nicoll easily steals the movie and has some damn funny moments all his own. Definitely worth a Rent if you are looking for 90 minutes of belly laughs. The humor can get crude at times, but it's still worth checking out. Just don't watch it with people that you may be uncomfortable watching this kind of humor play out. It is after all from the people that brought us Jackass.

Be sure to stick around for the credits. One of the things that plays in the back of you mind as you watch the movie is wondering how unsuspecting people react once they are told they are being filmed. The credits show you all that and more and is just as funny as the movie itself, if not more.

I honestly would like to see this.

Netflix has something on related to this. Supplemental? I dunno. Hope to get around to watch it soon.

Nothing from the library.  :-\
