When the series was first announced, my interest in the show shot straight up for a few reasons (The Shield and Fast and Furious connections, be it writing or actors involved). So, I initially watched the first 5 or so episodes OnDemand. And then it went dormant on the OnDemand service. Even though the episodes were still airing on TV, they weren't posting the episodes OnDemand, which left me waiting forever. After a month and a half wait, I was finally able to binge watch the second half of the season and it more than delivered on what the first half teased. Suddenly it morphed into something right out of The Godfather and it was great. It was executed so well that it made me extremely anxious for Season 2 to roll back.....
Unfortunately, I just read a few minutes ago the series has been cancelled. What an EPIC FAILURE on the part of FOX. They are purposely throwing away a golden opportunity with this show. Gang Related at all the makings of a classic that could and would have been big had they just given it the change to find an audience. Once again, FOX drops the ball.
