Ya know, prior to starting my Chuck Marathon, I was 100% convinced that I had never seen an episode of Season 5 due to a licensing disagreement between NBC and Hulu. Go here (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/tv's-greatest-hits-and-misses/chuck-(season-5)/msg1790/#msg1790) and you will see that I did in fact see the first episode before NBC yanked it from Hulu. With that out of the way, I was very much looking forward to this season as I have been waiting for 3 years to wrap up what I had started watching and enjoying very much. Even though it was a shortened season, I came away from it very satisfied, especially the Series Finale which was in a way a "Greatest Hits" swan song. They even mamanged to get Sarah back into her Wienerlicious costume, which I missed a lot. They also (finally) gave the Intersect back to Chuck to save the day and it was great that he has to choose between saving his friends or using it to return Sarah's memory. I also dug that they kept the ending ambiguous with the final kiss. Does she regain her memory because of it? Does she fall in love with Chuck anyway with no memory? It's a great way to end the series for sure.

There's a lot of things to like about this season. We get to see Morgan and Sarah using the Intersect themselves and see the toll it takes on the brain. We also got to see the return of a couple of characters from the past, in particular Agent Shaw (Brandon Routh) and Mrs. Bartowski (Linda Hamilton). Once again, it's got guest stars and this season saw Carrie Anne-Moss, Cheryl Ladd and Bo Derek. I liked that they used one of Charlie's Angels to play Sarah's mother. Last, but certainly not least, I really enjoyed Jeff and Lester's story line. Giving them the chance to discover Castle and then save the day not once, but twice was great. We ever got to see Jeffster one last time. One last thing, if you've watched the entire series, you will noticed to background actors that worked at the Buy More for all 5 Seasons. One was Skip played by Michael Kawczynski and Fernando played by Jesse Heiman. It took 5 years and the very last episode before Jesse was given a line to say. I thought it was funny. Anyway, this season is definitely worth a Rent.

For obvious reasons I couldn't watch this back in 2011 due to potential spoilers for Season 5 and didn't want to risk taking a chance that they revealed too much. It was great to finally e able to watch it. The opening was frickin' hilarious. Jeffster for the win!!

Both parts are fun. I like the mention of a potential Chuck Movie via Kickstarter. And what the f*ck is up with Joshua Gomez (Morgan)? That man sure loves his beard!!!!!!!
