An Evening With Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder is a 2-Disc DVD contiuation of Kevin Smith's Q&A Tour. This time, each disc comes from 2 different shows, the first taking place in Toronto and the second in London. This is an okay set, but it's nowhere near the original An Evening With Kevin Smith (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/dvd's-blu-rays/an-evening-with-kevin-smith-(2002)/) DVD set. A lot of it has to do with the crowd for both shows. They just were not electric like the original, where it came off like a house party where anything could happen at a moments notice. Here, they seemed muted, which of course dictated how Mr. Smith would run his routine. The crowd participation was lacking to say the least. And another thing, his delivery at times was a little too much like a stand-up comedian, which he is not. He is a storyteller and should leave telling jokes for those that do it for a living.

Of the 2 shows, I prefer the Toronto show, only because he had better stories to tell as well as the "hide behind a rock" running gag. Even though I own this DVD, I wouldn't recommend it as a Buy. But it's definitely worth a Rent for sure.
