The series was picked up for Season 2 on August 6. Awesome! This show has been a pleasant surprise. I'm glad it's coming back for another season and hopefully more after that.

That's a pretty big score to nad a Robin Williams for a guest stint on a cable network show that doesn't really have a big following at all. I'm guessing Elijah Wood called in some big favors to make it happen. As for his role in this episode, it was a pretty big and satisfying inside joke when he starts reciting "it's not your fault....it's not your fault....it's not...." from Goodwill Hunting. Also, he was kind of playing an older version of Patch Adams as well. Also, they had Steven Weber in this one as well as Allison Mack, Rob Riggle and Brian Baumgartner, better known to the world as Kevin from The Office (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/dvd's-blu-rays/the-office-(season-3-2006)/msg9667/#msg9667).

What season did you start with? If you started with Season 2 it might be harder to get into. Season 1 was awesome. I know you dress up like Frodo when the missus tells you to.

Funny episode that sees Wilfred entering a "Best In Show" dog contest, all the the hopes it will impress Drew. It doesn't. On the flip side, Ryan helps Wilfred train in the hopes that he will help break up Jenna and Drew. He doesn't. I don't know why Ryan is still obsessing over Jenna when he has a cute co-worker that has the hots for him. At least he finally took the initiative and asked her out by the end of the episode.

Although the episode was good, I feel that it's spinning its wheels now. I guess you could look at all of Season 1 as basically being the same plot where Ryan can't stand up for himself and Wilfred has to "motivate" him to do just that. Well, that plot certainly applies to this episode when his Boss at work is basically treating him like a slave. It's not till he stands up to him that he can basically write his own ticket there. I hope there is more than just this simple plot in future episodes.

I'm slowly losing interest in this show. Really not sure what it is, but it's not fun like it was in Season 1. Maybe the novelty of it has worn off. Whatever the case may be, this episode was meh. Wilfred and his imaginary "war" with babies wasn't even close to being funny. But I did get a laugh out of him throwing baby food on himself to prepare for when Ryan's sister gives birth.

An okay episode for me. Best sight gag ever is Wilfred dressed in Emo makeup. Now THAT was funny. Bob Gunton's cameo was wasted which is a shame as I really like the stuff he has done over the years. Really not sure why he did the episode, unless he will have a recurring role in the future.

Easily the best episode ever in the series. I was a nervous wreck because I knew that Wilfred was going to do whatever was necessary to sabotage Ryan's dinner party. Watching the lies escalate was funny because I knew that the lies would collapse like a house of cards. What I didn't see coming was the sudden bonding at the end between Wilfred and Amanda. Loved the whole Bear-on-the-wagon-off-the-wagon gag. Very funny. Hopefully this episode will be the start of a good run here. It's encouraging.

Last episode may have been the best, but this one is easily the funniest ever. There is no way in hell an episode like this would ever be allowed to air on regular TV. We are lucky that this one airs on FX, or we would never have gotten this gem of an episode that basically comes down to Doggy dancing and handjobs. Yes, it sounds crass and.....very weird. But you just have to see it for yourself. Try and not laugh.

Entertaining episode, but a very odd one at that. The whole 'game in the basement' was just very bizarre with Bruce (Dwight Yokham) and Wilfred. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of meds Ryan is on that makes him have conversations with a dog. It's gotta be pretty strong ones at that to get him to take dating advice from Wilfred. Poor Amanda. But then again, she is better off given the fact that her boyfriend has some serious issues.

This was kind of a racist episode which automatically drops the rating down. But having Mary Steenburgen in this one kinda saves the episode, not to mention the funny "Wilfred eating everything and feeling guilty about it later" gag.

This was hella funny. I mean reeeeeeeally funny. The whole "Wilfred-kidnapping-cats-and-then-convincing-Ryan-to-make-a-Serial-killer-of-cats-video-tape" is unlikely to be topped this season. I need to watch this one again. I thought the ending was a nice callback to the Doberman's too.

A very odd, but interesting episode that has Ryan being drugged by Wilfred, which sends him tripping in his mind, looking for answers. Why does he have panic attacks when the Baby is crying? The answer isn't really all that enlightening at all. Has to do with his sister. Anyway, not sure of Ryan had an epiphany at the end that he should get back together with Amanda. Bring her back, damn it!

Very funny episode that basically revolves around Ryan trying to get Wilfred to take a dump since he swallowed Jenna's engagement ring. Watching Wilfred trying to keep it in as a way to protest Jenna being a " w h o r e " for petting other dogs was a riot. Looks like Ryan is getting back with Amanda. Nice. She's adds a lot to the dynamic.

Man, Season 2 flew by incredibly fast. For the most part this was a pretty good season, save for a couple of episodes that had me questioning if I would stick with the series. After this season finale, there is no way I would not tune in for Season 3. I hope there will be another season, but I'm not convinced it will return given the bad ratings. As for this episode, a lot of s h i t hit the fan, especially with regards to Ryan's girlfriend Amanda, who turned out to be a nut job that embezzled money and framed Ryan for it. The cliffhanger is that Ryan discovers a drawing inside a picture of him an his mother painting and in one of the smaller drawings is a image of Wilfred peering from behind a tree. So, this calls into question of Wilfred even exist and that this has been a made up dog since his childhood. See, that's why I need a Season 3 to happen so that I can get some answers.
