I Am Evel Knievel is a decent documentary as told by his two sons Robbie and Kelly with some help along the way from the likes of Matthew McConaughey and Michelle Rodriguez. Both Matthew and Michelle clearly love everything Evel did and Kelly was clearly proud to be his son as he brags his way through the doc. Robbie on the other-hand seemed like an afterthought to the doc as if he still harbored resentment for never reaching his father's heights in fame, money and adulation. That's just how he always comes across. As for Kelly, other than old film as a kid riding alongside his father, I've never seen him in anything else. This was the first time seeing him talking about Evel, which was fun. As for the bulk of the movie, there isn't anything new here. If you've seen one doc about the man, you've seen them all. This one at least looks good. It's edited well and has some new stuff that I've never seen before. Worth a Rent.
