The Big Bang Theory (Season 8 )

I swore up and down that I was done with TBBT after the dreadfully boring Season 7. But with nothing else available and my patience wearing thin for something else to show up at my Library, I caved and decided check out Season 8. I went into this hopeful that last season was just a blip. Season 8 is "better" than the last, but unfortunately the series is still a shell of its former self. For the bulk of this one, I was bored and constantly looking for something else to do. It took a while for me to get through this season whereas before I'd be able to knock it out in 2-3 days. I found it very ironic and telling that in the Season Finale that Sheldon is talking about sticking with a TV series from beginning to end with the inevitable slide that comes a show that has been on as long as TBBT has been. This was definitely intentional on the writers parts to put that in. This is only a Rent for die-hard fans.
