Unbelievable. I'm in a surprising amount of shock about this.
Courtesy of Variety, Anton Yelchin died Sunday morning in an automobile accident (http://variety.com/2016/film/news/anton-yelchin-dead-star-trek-alpha-dog-1201798798/). I honestly wasn't expecting this kind of news, and forgive me if I'm being flippant because I don't mean to be, but it's a real strange feeling that the young Chekov is dead but the old Chekov is still around.
There's a list of movies that he's been in that I still haven't seen (including Odd Thomas). I guess I have a reason now.

Yeah, saw this about an hour ago. Really sad and tragic.

I'm greatly disturbed by it, it's just such a freak, unexpected occurrence.

Wow
I mean wow. Gawd I love his stuff. I am in shock. One of the few actors I try to catch, no matter what.
He's one of the main guys in Rudderless... My favorite movie of the last few years. He is very good in Odd Thomas. That is such an odd (sorry, no pun) different kind of film. Really like it.
But it looks like I've got a lot of catching up to do too. So many movies.
Again... Rudderless

That giant "Wow" said it all, that's exactly how i reacted. Just such an unexpected turn of events.
edit: I just read what "Rudderless" is about. That's going to be a hard watch now.
