It's 5 weeks late, but I'm just now starting the second season of Mr. Robot. I'm late through no fault of my own. Not sure who the blame falls on, but either USA Network or Roku needs to step up their game. I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for Episode 1 to drop. Whether it's USA or Roku, they were refusing to upload the first episode, but had no problem streaming episodes 2-5. Now that the first episode is up, they have removed episodes 4 and 5. Seriously, what the f*ck. I'm seriously p*ssed that they are f*cking with my schedule for this and that I now have to deal with the uncertainty that I'm going to even get to watch with any consistency and will have to wait for an extended time frame to get the rest of the episodes. Okay, with that out of the way, this episode was a great return to the series. It didn't take long for me to get back into the show and confirm my perception that Mr. Robot kicks ass. Very much looking to see where they take this for Season 2. My view is a bit skewed now since we know that Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) is all in Elliot's head. So, I'm now forced to view his reality in a completely different way which is kinda cool. This is gonna be a fun season for sure.

Season 2

After watching the first episode, I decided that I would sit back and wait for the entire season to wrap up because I wanted to binge watch it all. This is a show that I had zero patience waiting for week in and week out during Season 1. I didn't want to put myself through that kind of torture again. So, having just completed Season 2, I'm even more impressed with the writing and acting by all involved. I would say this is actually a better season than the previous because this season really goes out of their way to f*ck with the viewers mind. I didn't know where this was going and when I finally "figured" it out, they turn the season completely upside down by revealing that the first half of this season is entirely in Elliot's head. Yup, everything in the first 7 episodes never happened pertaining to him. I really loved that they did a Situation Comedy for half an episode and I'm talking about full-on Sitcom with canned Laugh Tracks, green screen, bad cheesy dialogue, etc... It's was the perfect way to drive home the point that Elliot's brain is seriously at odds with reality. Since we have the knowledge that there is a lot at play inside his head, it really does make you doubt what is real and what is made up in the second half of this season. Loved it all. Can't wait for Season 3. Great cliffhanger.
