I really wasn't that much of a fan of the first film and didn't see why this would even warrant a sequel given the fact that the first one pretty much looked and acted like a stand alone flick. Well, with nothing on deck to watch and this being the only thing available, I decided I just give it a shot and see how it all shook out. Surprisingly, this is a step up and was for the most part entertaining. It's still an average flick for me, but there are some pretty cool things that play out. Also, getting Lizzy Caplan into the movie was a great choice. I've been a fan of hers for a long time and she really is the one bright spot here. The thing that made this movie more enjoyable....at least in my eyes is the fact that they didn't telegraph every plot point which is what undermined the first one. This one you really don't know where they are going which is a bonus for me. And yes, they definitely set up another installment at the end. I fully expect the third flick to drop within 2 years. Anyway, Part Two is worth a Rent.
