I wasn't sure what I was gonna get with Hail, Caesar! when I started, but I thoroughly enjoyed Joel and Ethan Coen's love letter to Hollywood. There's a lot to like about this one. The cinematography looks phenomenal here. I've seen other modern day films trying for the same thing and doing a good job, but with Hail, Caesar! it really does look, feel and act like a movie right out of the 50's. All the same details are there and it's a hoot to see them. You could put this up alongside other films from the era and not be able to tell. Well, obviously with an all-star cast consisting of George Clooney, Josh Brolin, Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum and a host of other top names, that would be a giveaway of when this movie came out. Definitely worth checking out. Some very laugh out loud moments, the best being Alden Ehrenreich and Ralph Fiennes epic scene together. It's worth it just to see these two guys going at it for some great humor.
