Finally got around to watching Black Panther, this coming after months of hearing how this movie was and is a game changer. Yes, the movie is not your typical Superhero flick and brings a lot more to the table, even with the main hero on screen doing his thing. But, this movie isn't without faults, but that has a lot more to do with the writing regarding Plot Points that just don't make sense. I found myself questioning things that I'm sure that even the average fan that doesn't write for themselves on their own. Whenever a major Plot revelation would come up in the movie, without even thinking, I would say "uh, what about THIS, what about THAT"? Anyway, even with a few moments like this peppered throughout the flick, it doesn't take away from what is a fantastic movie from start to finish.

I'll get to the cast in a moment. But we have to start with the story itself. It has a great message and is very modern and fits in with everything that is happening now in the world today. So it has relevance that everyone can relate to. But it's the direction of Ryan Coogler that propels the movie forward and it's pretty astounding that you can count all the movies he has made on just one hand. What we see here is the vision and artistic flair of a seasoned pro like a Ridley Scott or a Steven Spielberg. And now for the cast. What is there left to say that hasn't already been said? It's a who's who of actors and actresses from the likes of Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Winston Duke, Andy Serkis, Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett and Michael B. Jordan who absolutely steals the movie. He owns it. So, if you want to see a fun, exciting flick and has a lot of historical importance, you can't find a better movie than Black Panther. Highly recommend this for sure and it's one that I would Buy to add to my personal DVD Library.
