Just got finished watching Season 3 and it exceeded my expectations. Not sure why it exceeded as I'm already a huge fan of the series and the first two seasons delivered in spades. I guess maybe I was expecting a drop off of sorts. There wasn't one at all. I do think that the fan-service cameos went a long way to elevate this season for me though. It was fantastic to see Tamlyn Tomita as Kumiko, Yuji Okumoto as Chozen Toguchi  and of course Elisabeth Shue as Ali Mills all returning. I literally could not stop smiling whenever any of the 3 were on screen. Tamlyn and Elisabeth still look amazing all these years later and Yuji was funny as f*ck in his cameo.

But all of them just reminded me why I love The Karate Kid series as much as I do. So what about the other half of the cast? They delivered too. That's the thing about Cobra Kai the Series. Every story line that is put forth to us is interesting and keeps you engaged, no matter how small a role may be. But lets jump to the Season Finale. That fight between Johnny and Kreese is a fight any fan of the movies has been waiting for. All it took was 35 years to get to and it more than delivered. Having Daniel get into the mix to save Johnny was a real crowd-pleasing moment. Loved it! As for the cliffhanger, it's obvious who Kreese is calling: Terry Silver. I was hopeful that he and Mike Barnes would show up last season. So, it's safe to say that Silver will be in Season 4. Jury is still out on Barnes being involved.

As for Shue...I really hope she comes back. But I don't think it's gonna happen given how her episode wrapped up. Never really thought she would be full time returning character. She really wouldn't have much to do moving forward. But damn, was it ever good to see her back as Ali.
